I recently bought a used Velar from LR dealership and today received a call from them requesting I return to dealership for vin verification.

Is this normal procedure, a step that they missed prior to sale, or does it draw attention to something perhaps more questionable ?

Recently purchased from LR dealership. All 4 shocks were replaced by dealership prior to my purchase.

Had the vehicle a week and notice clunking in front left wheel. (Ball joint or arms.)

Is it strange at all four shocks were replaced, and wouldn’t mechanic have noticed/seen issues with ball joint or arms ?

I have an ‘05 and an ‘08 LR3 both have 3rd row,air suspension and Both driven up until about a month ago. ‘05 has been my daily driver for ~18 years has 228k miles 2 new rear tires. Probably needs an oil change. Hard/rough start last week. Sun damage to clear coat on hood and leading edge of roof. Strong engine.

‘08 purchased 6 years ago. New tires all round. New battery (currently flat) 133k miles.
