New Fulton Armory receiver won't seat into SAGE mod 0. Any advice?

Receiver seats with a 2 or 3mm gap between the bottom of the receiver and top of the chassis. Won't budge. Front fits fine. Any advice? This is a new Fulton Armory barrel receiver and a new SAGE chassis; both GI contour rifle

I feel like I am going to throw up

Job announcement posted that is a perfect match for me. It is very niche and they are offering relocation incentive and recruitment bonus. I am a former competitive service/permanent employee and feel I have a very good shot at this. I've been doing nothing but quadruple checking my documents and my resume but I have that feeling that I somehow missed something in the announcement and will get rejected based on an administrative issue. This stuff is gut wrenching. The fact that you can be a perfect candidate but accidentally leave off the "40 hours per week" from your previous jobs and get rejected because of that with no recourse can make me feel like puking. I swore to never be a fed employee again after all the DOGE crap; but this job is as close to my dream job as it gets. I will probably read through my application again tonight and re-read my documents and have another night of not sleeping. I don't think I've slept well the past week; I just keep going over the documents in my head.

Anyone else get this feeling?

Can I put a red dot here? I figure I need a 2" riser. I know this was made for a night vision mount but seems like a red dot should work. Just wondering if anyone has tried it before I spend the cash on a mount and red dot

Wanting to do a group shoot at an outdoor range. Anyone know of one that lets you reserve benches/lanes? I know the easy answer is to go to BLM but hoping for something a little closer

I have no idea what I am doing. Looking for a good parts kit for an ARM build on a Tort. Anyone have a good reccomendation?

There's a dozen or so on GB but I have no idea what I am looking for. The only thing is I want to eventually have a wooden handguard and carry handle. I can shell out for a new barrel or anything else if that is recommended. Anyone care to point me towards a good condition kit? Thanks!

ATF proposed change to allow virtual FFL transfers RIN 1140-AB05 / ATF-2026-0266

ATF has a proposed rule open for comment: RIN 1140-AB05 / ATF-2026-0266. It would modernize non-over-the-counter firearm transfers by allowing firearm purchases to be completed remotely through an FFL, while still keeping background checks, identity verification, and recordkeeping.

As many of you know, the process creates unnecessary burdens for law-abiding buyers, especially parents, military members with unusual schedules, shift workers, people with long commutes, and those who do not live close to an FFL. This is even worse in the 13 states plus D.C. with multi-day waiting periods, where buyers may need two separate trips just to complete one lawful transfer. This not only burdens buyers but sellers as well. I can tell you with 100% confidence that government agencies review each public comment made. Please do not take for granted the opportunity to write a supporting comment.

A comment can be made here:

https://www.regulations.gov/document/ATF-2026-0266-0001

Here is a draft supporting comment:

>I support ATF’s proposed rule, RIN 1140-AB05 / ATF-2026-0266. Current in-person requirements are unnecessarily burdensome for both buyers and sellers given today’s technology, security systems, and remote identity-verification options. This burden is even greater in the 13 states plus D.C. with multi-day waiting periods, where buyers may need two separate trips to complete one lawful transfer, causing more time off work, childcare issues, travel costs, and coordination burdens for both buyers and sellers. Requiring in-person presence for every transaction, when secure digital identity verification and background checks can accomplish the same safety goals remotely, creates a soft barrier to exercising a constitutional right

Comments are open until August 6, 2026 on Regulations.gov under ATF-2026-0266 / RIN 1140-AB05.
