What a morning on the lake!

The one biggie buried in the grass good. Got him out i swear he had 5 lbs of weed on it. It was like fighting a 8 lbs bass which I've never done. Rod and reel are good to go if I ever meet up with one. Tight lines!

Couldn't find my poncho. So, thats why I'm wearing a sweater. Getting older back hurts for any stupid reason. Cold wet 100%! that one fish looked like someone stepped on it. Anyone know why?

All caught on a ugly stick gx2 ul 7ft with 6lbs braided line with a pink bubble gum trout magnet with a black jig head, bobber retrieve. That trout was wild fight. It breached the surface eating dragon flys. Tossed that magnet in and boom instantly hit.

Took my nieces and nephew fishing yesterday.The second fish weighed 2.38. I'm not smart enough to scribble out faces. They said it made them tired lol. Caught both on a worm with a barbless hook. They didn't like the fact the fish could come off easily but they learned tight lines!

Last morning on the lake til Sunday. I'll take it, caught on a ugly stick 7' gx2 ultralight pflueger reel and 6 lbs braid with a 2" white grub barbless.

Got out early this morning

Bought some single hooked 1/6 rooster tail and used the pink one 1/6oz . Well, it CRUSHED IT! 15 casts and 2 fish. Am I late to the party on these? Buying more!

Tried out the pink 1/6 rooster tail single hook debarbed. It crushed! Only made like 15 casts with it then the kids needed breakfast. I have a silver with a red trailer. I think it's gonna also good size hook for those slabs of a pumpkin seed in this lake. Tight lines!

Some got off again. Maybe my rods action is too fast? Got these little Purdy fish though I landed in the am. I'm gonna watch a you tube video. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Found this little frog. A bit smaller than a dime. 2 feet away ,full zoom . Nature's so cool. Tight lines!

Never used one had a case since Christmas. Had a trout on the light pink one and some bass too all got off but Landed 2 bass also.There like using barbless hooks as soon as they jump thrashing they spit it out. Had to use tight lines and rod control. Challenge accepted 😎.

A small, medium and large large mouths. The bass don't get much bigger than that in the lake im fishing out of. Length is almost max size but there are piggies in here just rarer in the little lake i have a cottage at. All caught on a 1/8 bumblebee pattern rooster tail and ultralight gx2 ugly stick. I had a hog on but he snapped my 6lbs braid. I let my cousins boy use mine and I guess he tightened my drag tight. Reaching for the net my line got caught in the dock and his piggy ass snapped it in a second. Love fish tales.
