I'm trying to pull data from multiple sources into a dashboard but not all of the data has connectors for PBI. My gut reaction is to just pull it all into an Excel sheet but that's a bit of manual labor for up keep (unless I script it and run a GitHub action). Would a lake house setup be more ideal? I feel like I'm missing something.

Both of these are at the same price point ($100), offer ANC and have a wing for fitting in the ear better. While those three are my big requirements, I can't decide on which would be the better choice.
I really need these to block out noise while I'm at work (open office layout with everyone having their calls and conversations). At home, I tend to just wear 1 bud so if I can turn off the ANC, that's awesome. When I'm working out, I have a different pair of earbuds so that isn't part of my calculus.
Not sure if it matters but I have a Samsung phone so if the Buds FE have other features because of my phone that might be interesting.

Turning 40 today, my lovely wife has gone all out and has really made my morning awesome. I keep a list of watches that I really keep an eye on and she dug into it and got me this Seiko.
Even with the long NATO strap that it comes with, it's comfortable out of the box for me. Over time I know the strap will get more flexible. Maybe I'll swap the band out in the future but I'm happy with this right now. What band color would looks good with this? I'm not crazy about leather bands and I think a metal bracelet wouldn't look right.
The dial is lovely. Each number and the Seiko logo have a 3d pop to it. The dark gray face with the unpolished case really looks beautiful to me.
We both really enjoyed the show "The Pit". If this watch was good enough for Dr. Robbie, then it is good enough for my wrist.
She also got me a winder. Now I can blame her for contributing to my addiction collection.
I completely agree with the main thrust of the episode and it is a useful way to recenter someone on the whole AI mess. The bit in the beginning, I did want to comment on.

For a long time, I was your classic "get rid of the guns" lefty. Anytime a mass shooting hit the news, I'd think on the usual talking points. Ban ARs, limit high capacity magazines, forced registration, etc.

Then, I kept looking around and seeing the folks who are wanting to and actively oppressing those I care about. They are armed.

The current news from Northern Ireland is another example of people being whipped up into a frenzy and going off to commit horrible violence. Now, my wife and I took a safety class and we each have our own guns. We go and shoot regularly and keep an ample stock of ammunition. (All fully locked in a safe but quickly accessible manner.)

I have no illusions about being John Wick or a COD main character. My prep is still based around creating an environment, community and circle of folks who want what is best for marginalized people.

When the X-Wings are flying into Adelphi Base, the sun low in the sky, it's just perfect. It felt like Top Gun to me and that goes with a lot of other shots involving the dogfights.
Im an IT engineer (SRE for Salesforce to be exact) and now we are being forced to include AI into our workflows. I already have scripts/tool/GitHub Actions that automate a ton but these AI agents are garbage.
So, other than remaking what I already have, what would be some good ideas for malicious compliance?
