ADA had tradition to let all the newcomer guess the previous job of the older member. When Atsushi had to guess Dazai's job by his look, he said he didn't had a clue.

And at this moment, I didn't knew what would happen in the story and was watching it for the first time.

Then, my supposition was that Dazai was homeless before ADA. 😭

Maybe some of you had guess otherwise, im curious.

If you had to be reincarnated in the Gu World in a random place as a native and you could choose just one of this advantage, which one would you choose :

- Having FY 500 years experience and knowledge without the attainment.

- Having 3 Grandmaster attainment in 3 random path without any Gu experience.

- Having the ability to create your own Gu recipe of the Gu you desire once a day at the conditions it is the same (or below) rank as you. You would still need to refine it and there is chance this recipe isnt even possible in your era.

- Having a 400 years lifespan Gu at the start of your journey.

- Having the rank 9 Gu of your choice as your vital Gu with the aura being completely hidden from other immortal. Though, if one immortal have a method to find this Gu or if your trapped by one, your cooked.

- Having the perfect extreme physique of your choice (the path you prefer) with 100% talent and 0 chance to self detonate. Though you will be slow down if you want to cultivate other path.

- Having half a million dao marks of your choice on your body with all the advantage and drawback it bring.

- Or having 0 conflictuel dao marks, meaning you can cultivate all path.

In all this situation, you will awake your aperture at 15 with 30% talent (except if you choose the extreme physique).

During the middle of the novel, we only knew 4 well know rank 8 in nothern plain (with HLL aunt it's 5). At first I thought it was the same with other region considering one rank 8 is already insane.

But when FY reached rank 8 himself and we saw the amount of rank 8 alive I was out of laugh.

Let ignore HC member and just on regular rank 8.

Just for the Southern Border, 4 rank 8 already died at the Yi Tian mount. And after that we had Wu Yong, Wu Du Xiu, Chi Qu You, Ba Shi Ba and many other rank 8 leader. Without considering demonic and lonely rank 8 cultivator.

At the Eastern Sea, there was 4 demonic rank 8 at the service of Wu Shuai. Plus 8 other righteous rank 8 from the region and some other lone cultivator.

It's the same case of Western Desert. And I won't talk about Central Continent.

Okay there is longevity heaven with 4 other rank 8 (with one that just died some chapters after). But it's only 4 additionnal rank 8. We can suppose there was some other rank 8 hidden in the longevity heaven, so why they didn't came at fate war 😭?

This top include only mainstream path, so no heaven, human, dream or paint path.

10 - Enslavement path : This path allow a cultivator to fight against plenty of opponents in the same time. It's also very easy to gain power in enslavement path since you just have to hunt with your beasts to gain attainment and more beast power. The only weak point is that you need too much ressources. So you have two choice : having the support of your force or being a demonic cultivator to hunt every time.

9 - Earth path : It's a very strong and solid path that was very useful to FY to manage his SIF. He is very low cost and is very strong in 4/5 regions. Cultivating this path is easy and offer you a good control ability against your opponent and nature. It's also a good path when you reach the rank 6 to cultivate your blessed land.

8 - Metal path : One of the strongest path in attack (as blood, sword and fire), but without the weakness of those path. Metal path is not supressed as blood path, not weak at defense like sword path and don't have practical weakness as fire path (earth, water path). Qin Bai Sheng was one of the strongest rank 7 expert in the five region with this path without having the shadow sect help. He was even able to survive to FJG attack with only this path, showing how good is its defense.

7 - Information path : Okay, this one is a bit special and it's only because if I was in RI I would keep my memory. We literaly live in a world of information and this path is naturally for us. I have plenty examples of information path killer moves to create using what we know. But more formally, this path is a good one to not be surprised by what happens and gathering information before doing anything. It would allow a cultivator to avoid mistakes in his cultivation like using a good you don't know all effects or fighting an opponent you have no clue on.

6 - Wisdom path : Wisdom path always was showed as broken. And it is. Wisdom path have some of the use of information path like gathering information and predicting what happens. But it had more thing like the ability to hide yourself from deductions, deducting information from evidences, deducting killer moves and gu recipe, and scheming against everyone (strongest ability that terrified nothern plain when DFCF was alive). But this path have two huge weakness that are really hard to compensate : some of the strongest methods needs your lifespan to work (for that reason most of the wisdom path cultivator we see are old) and it's really weak at offense, of course we saw exception (like FY, DFCF, Purple) but either they are exception in the cultivation world or have a second path they cultivate for battle.

5 - Rule path : This path is too polyvalent because there is Gu like Strong, Weak, Limit, Fast, One, Two, Three, Ten, Small, Short, Big, Tall, and so on. Allowing you to express a huge creativity in this path. It's also a good secondary path since you can combo it to strengthen other path.

4 - Time path : Time manipulation is literaly one of the strongest power in fiction. This path have a good hax and is weak nowhere in defense, offense, movement, investigation, heal. It also have a small wisdom path aspect since you can predict the future at some point in this path.

3 - Refinement path : One of the most developped path in history since he is in the 3 pillard of Gu cultivation. Most of cultivators don't even have a Gu to their rank; a problem solved by this path since you will gain the intuition and waste least ressources to increase the level of your Gu. We saw FY refining 2 immortal Gu with only a master attainment in refinement path. The only utility of refinement path immortal Gu is to refine gu immortal for other, every force have at least one refinement path expert. The only weakness of this path is the fact you will spit blood at every backslash, but it's a problem solved with your progression. Adding refinement path is the most mainstream path in the world, you will never have any difficulty to find a Gu that suit you.

2 - Soul path : Does is it even a question ? Soul path have literaly no weakness. It is strong in offense, defense, heal, movement, hax, investigation. This path only need soul to be cultivated, something every being have. It's like blood path at the sole difference soul path is not supressed as blood path is. With the soul manipulation this path offer you, you can easely brainwash someone, create a clone, learn all the secret of a cultivator and so on. This path also offer the best way to revive or change your body if anything goes wrong. It's also the best path to use if you have to dual cultivate path like wisdom path or enslavement path, or if you have to explore a dream realm. The only bad thing is that at some point you would need one the secluded domain of heaven and earth if you want to increase your cultivation in the upper realm with a desolate soul. And because you don't have those domains, your soul cultivation would 1000 time slower.

1 - Transformation path : The best path to dual cultivate. This path include every other path. The Gu and ressources of this path are also very easy to find since it is a very mainstream path. Like FY stated transformation path killer moves are the simpliest to deduce and use because you only need Gu of the same transformation. It's also the most polyvalent path if you are more offensive, defensive or control; if you prefer being tanky, rapid or balanced. You will always find a combo with any secondary path you want to cultivate depending on your style.

Considering you only get the inherance of the venerable you choose, which one would you choose ?

This mean if you choose Great Love inherance, you wouldnt get the 9 other venerable inherance he get in his life (like Shadow Secte inherance or Paradise Earth heaven path inherance). You will only get his refinement path inherance, including every none venerable inherance he won in his journey (like Hei Fan, Tao Zhu, etc) and the inherance he created by his own in his life.

The inherance you will choose would be the achievement of all the venerable's life. It mean, if you choose Limitless, you will gain his crazed demon cave deductions about eternal life; if you choose Paradise Earth, you will get all his search about heaven path; and so on.

The inherances are pure knowledge, you will receive 0 immortal Gu, ressources, true meaning, will or blessed land.

So if you choose Giant Sun, Star Constellation or any Heavenly Court lord, you will not receive the longevity heaven or heavenly court. Or if you choose Spectral Soul, you will get the SIF recipe but not the Gu itself.

But at the moment you get the inherance, it's fixed to your mind and you would just need a thought to explore it. You will get the killer moves, the gu immortal recipe, cultivation secrets and every important knowledge.

I just realized something after finishing the novel.

We learned how immortal stones was produced and the fact that Heaven Will used primeval stones and immortal stones to control gu master and gu immortal in infusing it will in the stones.

But remember how FY (the puppet of HW) needed a massive amount of immortal stone for his culture.

What is funny : HW didn't made FY a zombie to weaken him to ease the control it had on him, quite the opposite, HW always sought to make him strong. But HW made him a zombie immortal to force FY to frequently use immortal stone to supress his otherwordly demon side to have a full control on him.

Most of the time, people tend to create too op Gu. So let's do it like that : for every rank from 1 to 5, state the evolution of one Gu. Rank 1 is the first form, rank 2 is the upgrate, and so on until rank 5.

I didn't saw one and always wondered how Qi Jue look like in his kid form.

For Reverend Insanity, it's pretty simple to find if someone is larping or not. You don't even have to be far into the novel.

You just have to ask something that isnt linked to Fang Yuan or venerables.

For example, you can ask the most famous quote from the novel. And if this guy don't answer you "Man is the spirit of all living beings. And gu is the essence of heaven and earth." But something like "Refine gu, refine human, refine heaven." Or "Today I step on grass..." This guy is 100% larping.

Another example, if you ask him how long is Reverend Insanity introduction and he pull out a random number and not 1021, this guy is sus.

I just watched the movie again and only tilt here that Miles was reading a Spiderman comics after discovering his powers. But everyone discovered the true identity of Peter only after his death. The first time I just thought someone had done a spiderman comics to surf on his buzz, but the informations on Peter (the bit we had) was too accurate to be imaginated by a Spidey fan.

I already finished the novel but kept this question, what is on the south of Southern Border, the north of Northern Plain, etc... I know the world is flat because after gaining SIF, FY had to go through Eastern Sea to join Northern Plain.

But what if someone go on the border, what will he found ?

And what if someone dig deeply under the ground, there is a end ?

And there is space ? If someone go fully up of two heaven and dig to the up, will he find space ?

It's too obvious for no immortal Gu to have tried this.

Qi path count 3 of the strongest pseudo venerable of modern era : Qi Sea, Duke Long, Qi Jue.

And I always found this strange considering Qi path was always stated as the most outdated path as Strength path.

She was always carried by someone. At first she was carried by the Hei clan and her mother will, later by Fairy Li Shan, later by Ying Wu Xie, later by Fang Yuan, later by Longevity heaven. And it wasn't even some help sometime, it was pure feeding. She never had any relevant fight. HLL is the quintessence of the definition of a nepobaby.

But people forgive her because she is a jade beauty baddie even though she is also cannibalistic.

What a sad world 🥀 .

We saw throughout the novel that Heaven always let a path for oneself to escape. Fang Yuan showed it many times. Even if it's hard, there is a solution. But everything fall apart when we look up at Fang Zheng. He always was a pawn for everyone, even at rank 7. And he never had an opportunity to escape. He couldnt preveng what would have happen on the Qing Mao mountain. He was captured by Lord Sky Crane and forced to join the Crane Sect. After that, he always was under close surveillance by LSC to become his new body. He couldnt flee and wasn't even aware of this plan. And even if he was, he would have been chase by one of the ten sects. If it wasn't for heaven will needing Fang Zheng, FZ would have been dead along. After that he was captured by FY. And even after, he have been captured by HC. His life was litteraly shi and Heaven never let him an opportunity to free himself or even being a bit independant.

I finished the novel and im quite bored now. Since im not biaised now after finishing it, I will rate the novel on 10 without arguing (maybe I will argue in the replies).

It's been a while since I stopped reading on webtoon. Now I wanted to reread a story I didn't finished before. I wanted to download it to read it off internet. But I actually can't because I already downloaded the chapters in the past and they expired. There is a way to download them anyways ?

Let set this CYOA.

You get reincarned into RI in a random clan/sect/tribe at the same year as FY. You're in the 3th life of FY.

You would have to choose a drawback to choose a perk.

Drawback :

- You have a rank D aptitude.

- The probability for you to find an inherance simply by luck is near 0.

- You receive the mission to destroy Heavenly Court (it's an obsession as TH want to return home and FY want to achieve eternal life. You can't do anything about that).

- You receive the mission to kill every human variant (it's also an obsession).

- You lose your sanity one day on three (as Purple Mountain).

- Every young master you meet are jealous of you for no reasonable reason and you have no way to calm them except if you use a masterpiece method.

- You fall desperatly in love with someone who is the opposite of you (if you're demonic, she would be righteous. If you're calm, she would be turbulent). You don't know it identity, but you're sure they match your sexual orientation and they appear at least one time in the novel.

- You lose half your power after every major event. It can be an epic battle or massive gain you had (like FY every volume).

- One of your mortal ancestor have a demonic heart and need you as material to refine a power up. But he actually don't even know your existence. However, if he find you out, you will surely be cooked as he is a rank 5 expert

- You're scared of insects.

- You have a strange smell that make every beasts angry and want to mangle you. You can't tame them except if you cultivate enslavement path.

- Your tribulation are stronger of 10%, and you don't have bonus dao marks.

- You're no longer an otherworldly demon.

Perks :

- You can choose whatever character in the novel (excepting Venerable) male or female to be genuinely in love with you. They would protect you at all cost and sacrifice their advantages for you. You can choose the fairy of a super clan to be nurtured or an expert recognize in the five region. However, this person keep his personality and is not a dog. He keep free will and can even be healed with wisdom path methods.

- You receive a 100 years lifespan Gu every 50 years.

- You immediatly become a quasi SGM in the path of your choice (can be multiple times).

- You receive a body that allow you to cultivate all path without conflicted dao marks (you have a defensive weakness because of it). When you ascend to an immortal, you receive a 20K km² aperture that grow up every tribulation you face it. But when you become an immortal Gu, Heaven Will acknowledge you and decide your its biggest threat.

- You receive a vital Gu since birth that grow automatically with your rank. If the immortal Gu of this Gu already exist, you receive an equivalent Gu when reaching rank 6.

- You receive the venerable inherance of your choice. But you don't receive the original, only a copy (so no Gu immortal but you have their recipe and killer moves).

- You gain Fang Yuan's adversity management.

- You gain half the talent of a venerable (can be multiples time).

- You gain Duke Long fight experience.

- You gain dao marks when passing a realms or facing a tribulation according to the Gu you possess. More you have Gu of one path, more you gain dao marks of this path. So the dao marks you gain as immortal is bigger than as a mortal.

- Reckless Savage find you cool. You born with a Reckless Savage Will in you that will guide you toward your cultivation.

- You're allow to receive the inspiration of Heaven one time a day without any Gu needed. More your defying heaven, more heaven would be stingy with answers.

- You can finish Reverend Insanity and see the end of the story unreleased before being transmigrated.
