I just watched the movie again and only tilt here that Miles was reading a Spiderman comics after discovering his powers. But everyone discovered the true identity of Peter only after his death. The first time I just thought someone had done a spiderman comics to surf on his buzz, but the informations on Peter (the bit we had) was too accurate to be imaginated by a Spidey fan.

I already finished the novel but kept this question, what is on the south of Southern Border, the north of Northern Plain, etc... I know the world is flat because after gaining SIF, FY had to go through Eastern Sea to join Northern Plain.

But what if someone go on the border, what will he found ?

And what if someone dig deeply under the ground, there is a end ?

And there is space ? If someone go fully up of two heaven and dig to the up, will he find space ?

It's too obvious for no immortal Gu to have tried this.

Qi path count 3 of the strongest pseudo venerable of modern era : Qi Sea, Duke Long, Qi Jue.

And I always found this strange considering Qi path was always stated as the most outdated path as Strength path.

She was always carried by someone. At first she was carried by the Hei clan and her mother will, later by Fairy Li Shan, later by Ying Wu Xie, later by Fang Yuan, later by Longevity heaven. And it wasn't even some help sometime, it was pure feeding. She never had any relevant fight. HLL is the quintessence of the definition of a nepobaby.

But people forgive her because she is a jade beauty baddie even though she is also cannibalistic.

What a sad world 🥀 .

We saw throughout the novel that Heaven always let a path for oneself to escape. Fang Yuan showed it many times. Even if it's hard, there is a solution. But everything fall apart when we look up at Fang Zheng. He always was a pawn for everyone, even at rank 7. And he never had an opportunity to escape. He couldnt preveng what would have happen on the Qing Mao mountain. He was captured by Lord Sky Crane and forced to join the Crane Sect. After that, he always was under close surveillance by LSC to become his new body. He couldnt flee and wasn't even aware of this plan. And even if he was, he would have been chase by one of the ten sects. If it wasn't for heaven will needing Fang Zheng, FZ would have been dead along. After that he was captured by FY. And even after, he have been captured by HC. His life was litteraly shi and Heaven never let him an opportunity to free himself or even being a bit independant.

I finished the novel and im quite bored now. Since im not biaised now after finishing it, I will rate the novel on 10 without arguing (maybe I will argue in the replies).

It's been a while since I stopped reading on webtoon. Now I wanted to reread a story I didn't finished before. I wanted to download it to read it off internet. But I actually can't because I already downloaded the chapters in the past and they expired. There is a way to download them anyways ?

Let set this CYOA.

You get reincarned into RI in a random clan/sect/tribe at the same year as FY. You're in the 3th life of FY.

You would have to choose a drawback to choose a perk.

Drawback :

- You have a rank D aptitude.

- The probability for you to find an inherance simply by luck is near 0.

- You receive the mission to destroy Heavenly Court (it's an obsession as TH want to return home and FY want to achieve eternal life. You can't do anything about that).

- You receive the mission to kill every human variant (it's also an obsession).

- You lose your sanity one day on three (as Purple Mountain).

- Every young master you meet are jealous of you for no reasonable reason and you have no way to calm them except if you use a masterpiece method.

- You fall desperatly in love with someone who is the opposite of you (if you're demonic, she would be righteous. If you're calm, she would be turbulent). You don't know it identity, but you're sure they match your sexual orientation and they appear at least one time in the novel.

- You lose half your power after every major event. It can be an epic battle or massive gain you had (like FY every volume).

- One of your mortal ancestor have a demonic heart and need you as material to refine a power up. But he actually don't even know your existence. However, if he find you out, you will surely be cooked as he is a rank 5 expert

Perks :

- You can choose whatever character in the novel (excepting Venerable) male or female to be genuinely in love with you. They would protect you at all cost and sacrifice their advantages for you. You can choose the fairy of a super clan to be nurtured or an expert recognize in the five region. However, this person keep his personality and is not a dog. He keep free will and can even be healed with wisdom path methods.

- You receive a 100 years lifespan Gu every 50 years.

- You immediatly become a quasi SGM in the path of your choice (can be multiple times).

- You receive a body that allow you to cultivate all path without conflicted dao marks (you have a defensive weakness because of it). When you ascend to an immortal, you receive a 20K km² aperture that grow up every tribulation you face it. But when you become an immortal Gu, Heaven Will acknowledge you and decide your its biggest threat.

- You receive a vital Gu since birth that grow automatically with your rank. If the immortal Gu of this Gu already exist, you receive an equivalent Gu when reaching rank 6.

- You receive the venerable inherance of your choice. But you don't receive the original, only a copy (so no Gu immortal but you have their recipe and killer moves).

- You gain Fang Yuan's adversity management.

- You gain half the talent of a venerable (can be multiples time).

- You gain Duke Long fight experience.

- You gain dao marks when passing a realms or facing a tribulation according to the Gu you possess. More you have Gu of one path, more you gain dao marks of this path. So the dao marks you gain as immortal is bigger than as a mortal.

- Reckless Savage find you cool. You born with a Reckless Savage Will in you that will guide you toward your cultivation.

- You're allow to receive the inspiration of Heaven one time a day without any Gu needed. More your defying heaven, more heaven would be stingy with answers.

- You can finish Reverend Insanity and see the end of the story unreleased before being transmigrated.

My question is about the scaling in Gu. I have no difficulty to understand what is the difference between a rank 1 wood Gu and a rank 2 wood Gu (for example a rank 1 Gu produce a stick and a rank 2 a tree). But how does Soul Path work ? If a rank 1 soul path Gu attack the soul, the other rank 1 Gu master have no chance against it if they cultivate an other path than soul path. And rank 1 time path Gu, what is it ? I mean by that, there is no more strongest form of being than time itself. If you use an hypothetical rank 1 attack Gu that old the part of the target hitted, it would be so op (moonlight Gu is like a peace of cake side this), even with something so simple. There is also rule path. I know rule path Gu are basically : One Gu, Two Gu, Right Gu, Left Gu, Strong Gu, Weak Gu, Cumulative Gu, and so on. But how does it work ?! What happen if you use One Gu itself ? Even if it's used in a killer move, as FY said Strong Gu is used to strenghten killer move, how it work. Like if you use Five Gu before using Moonlight Gu, you throw 5 moon shots ? Maybe because we saw more immortal side than the mortal side, I can't understand the power gap and how mortal cultivation work. But it's really difficult to understand.

I finished the novel and im wondering how old are FY after his first regression. We got some time indication (ignoring the fact that FY in blessed lands). For example, when FY became a Venerable and he speed up the time in his aperture to 4:1, he overall skipped many tribulations and he was almost reaching his first chaotic tribulation. So at least 10 years passed in the real world. And before that again, FY lived many years into a zombie immortal.

Now the situation : You was transmigrated into the Gu World as a rank 6 lonely immortal of the path you desire (excluding heaven and human path) in the region you desire. You have transported with grandmaster attainment in your main path and master attainment in two other path of your choice. You possess 3 rank 6 Gu immortal of your choice (except SAC, Wisdom, Attitude, Change Form Gu and the other essential at the main plot or too op Gu like a Gu who defy heaven itself). You're in FY era, 50 years before his birth. You passed one earthly calamity and the next is in 6 months. Reborning in this world, you have now one purpose : become an expert to survive and defeat every opponents and calamity before you. Now, build your combat system and make your killer moves considering your path and the 3 only Immortal Gu you possess. The purpose is to make a complete killer moves set, including defense, offense, investigation, movement, utilitary, refinement, etc. Be creative with your killer moves and be sure to make them consistent.

Okay, now the situation.

You just find out reincarnated in the Gu World as the son of two rank 3 in a high clan without Gu immortal (from any regions) the same day as Fang Yuan. Let suppose you're enough independant to have your own purpose in life (reaching eternal life, having an happy familly, made an harem, being enough rich to live confortably without fighting, whatever). What path would you choose considering the restriction of your era ? So if you choose a rare path like heaven path, human path, dream path, luck path, food path or paint path, good luck to you. And why ? (You have the choice of the region you spawn in. But if you decide to spawn in nothern plain, you're not from Huang Jin Tribe.)

After BNB used the shadow sect's method to wake up the time path house Gu in volume 3, we saw a flashback on how this house Gu was there. We saw a rank 8 zombie immortal fighting a rank 7 time path cultivator strangely looking like Red Lotus. But we never had an explicite answer if he really was Red Lotus. And if he was, what was Red Lotus doing there in the future ? And why he was fighting SS clone ?

I have finished the manhwa of RToC since a good time and found it good. Im wondering if I should read the webnovel. The manhwa was good but very confusing, especially with the power system (partly because of the bad translation). I already read many other webnovel. But im afraid to find the novel boring because of the lack of conflicts. The manhwa was good only because there were images to understand the explanations.

So are there any interesting conflicts later in the novel? Or will it really just focus on understanding Seo’s sword? Because I don’t think I’ll be able to read the novel if that’s all there is to it.

Maybe I didn't understood it, but the fact to be a dao lord allow you to refine natural dao marks. But is it correlate to being a venerable ? Or is it equivalent ? Like you become a dao lord when you reach rank 9 and you need to be a dao lord to reach rank 9.

I was imaginating the life of many side characters before or during the main story. I just finished the novel and am really bored. I just started lotm (but whatever it's not the topic).

We have some glimpse of some venerables life, but even for the ones we have more informations (like Spectral Soul and Red Lotus), we still don't know much.

So im asking you, fellow daoist, to tell me all your favorite (or not) headcanon theory you have on venerables life.

I have some headcanon theory too.

For Spectral Soul :

\- When he had to buy a mortal inherance to perfectionize his killer moves and saw the price on the heaven yellow treasure, he would have rather stole a random inherance from a innocent mortal village and kill everyone in it.

\- He killed his dao guardian.

\- We know that soul search existed at the Thieving Heaven Era (because of his dream realm); but the victim needed to be alive. But Spectral Soul killed too much during his youth, so he invented the capture soul technique to use soul search on a dead victim.

\- He like loli (it's the only reason why Jing Lan is alive even though being SS enemy during his era).

For Limitless :

\- Even though he is against Heavenly Court, he helped them (not directly) to kill some human variants. Because we know that Limitless spared HC for the sake of humanity.

\- He created Rule path because he is a dao seeker and tried to cultivate a way to express the dao. It's for that reason rule path Gu look like that : one, two, Up, Down, Right, Left, Fall, Stop, Move, Derivation, Integration. He was trying to go on the fundamental of how world works.

\- He is gay. Nah bro his relation with Qi Jue is too sus.

What is your headcanon theories ?

Do you think (or maybe we have a hint on it) that FY revealed being the one killing the lesbian and the lesbian fish seller of Eastern Sea after becoming a Venerable ? Like he saw his servants wasting too much time in investigate on this case instead of working for him and just revealed it. What do you think would have been their reactions if he had does ? I imagine FY said something like "Sigh, but I was forced. You Chan and Qin Bai He was collaborating with the demonic Heavenly Court. They was against the true righteous path and refused the great love ! Sigh, such a tragedy. Now go on and bring me ressources points."
