Am I the only one with zero friends at high school.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who has literally zero contact with anyone on school everyday. Everyday I just wake up, go to high school, and walk in and out of every classroom taking notes, asking questions, but not talking to a single person. And it's all because I suck at talking honestly. I hate small talk, I hate talking to the other person and looking stupid because they didn't hear me and asked me to repeat myself, I hate going through the awkward stage of making friends.

I have been a whole year on high school and I find it kinda ridiculous how I didn't manage to make one single friend. Well, I made one but she just kinda moved on and made new friends after christmas break. And I feel an immense hatred everytime I see her with her new friends but I feel like it's unjustified because in reality she did nothing wrong, she just has the luck of being more social than me. Eventually I figured it's not worth it to act all stupid forcing myself to have small talk and smile when in reality it doesn't even assure me a friendship. I never pass the awkward stage because I try to act all nice, it's kinda the only thing I know how to do. That's why teachers and adults like me, but I figured it doesn't really work with people my age. It's like they all know how to talk with each other naturally without even trying. My friends on middle school kinda made me feel left out all the time because I was just different from them, so I said "I wish I had no friends so I don't have to feel bad about being excluded" and it kinda came true lol. And I really mean I'm bad at talking to people. Every conversation I try to have goes like this.

Me: (Spots them playing deltarune) Hi! I have a question. Where did you buy Deltarune, did you pirate it or did you buy it on steam?

Other person: Oh, I'm playing on my sister's steam profile**(Turns around to keep talking to their friend)**

If I could describe it I would say that I feel like if everyone else were dogs and I were a cat. You know, like when there's a group of dogs just socializing with each other and playing around while the cat just awkwardly stays at a corner and doesn't know how to react when the dogs approach it. And I mean, I think I'm pretty well alone, but I don't know if I'm just really good at coping. The only thing that stops me from going insane is my cellphone. Sometimes I wonder if other people wouldn't go crazy after spending a whole year without talking to anybody at school. But please tell me I'm not the only one. Because to me it seems like I am. I don't want to sound bad or anything but sometimes I see people like me and get kinda happy because I think "Hm, well, seems like I'm not the only one". It would make me feel better if others went through the same as me, but even people that are quieter than me have friends. It's ridiculous. Like, I can't be the only one at school with no friends.

I mean, people even pity me. There was this girl who saw me crying one day and now everytime she sees me she gives me the high five of pity. She goes "Hey, high five" and smiles at me as I high five her. It's honestly kind of embarassing because I know she is doing it with a good intention but I wonder if that's the only thing people know about me, that I'm lonely and sad. I mean, I wonder if they even see me as their equal. They either pity me or take advantage of me to ask for my Mac Book's charger because they know I always say yes. Anyways, is anyone else going through the same as me, or does anyone have any advice?

Am I the only one that thinks this is racist?

This user on Tiktok, @utonula, made a series drawing the Mane 6 as humans. She gave most of them a light skintone, raising some complaints in the comments. They asked her to stop "Whitewashing them". And I mean, it's totally valid that she draws them that way, everyone can headcannon a character to be any skintone. But instead of ignoring the hate comments, she decided to post this picture for rainbow dash.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks it's racist. Because she's basically mocking the people that demand darker skintones by putting a black, muscular man, kinda like saying "You wanted dark skin tones? Well here you go". And I said that but everyone tells me I'm taking it way too seriously and that it's not that deep.

Am I too skinny or am I normal skinny?

Ignore my ugly clothes. I have been skinny my entire life and I have no idea why. I mean, I literally eat a lot in every meal and I consider that I eat very healthy. I eat chicken, fish, pasta, rice, fruits, vegetables, eggs, tortillas, bread, cheese. I'm not on a diet or anything like that and it's not like I starve myself to lose weight, so I have never understood why I am so skinny. Like I literally cannot gain weight, I have always weighed the same. But the point is, do you think my actual weight is sustainable, or do you think it's not. Because it looks fine to me but I don't know if others may see it as unhealthy. I'm 165 and 45kg so idk.

[H] $10 dollar Roblox card [W] $10 dollar Nintendo card

I think this trade should be really straightforward. I have an untouched roblox card but I won't actually use it so I was wondering if someone could trade me a nintendo card for it.

My mom doesn't like my hair, do you think it looks good?

So me and my mom are going on a family trip were we will see dozens of family members so she told me "I made you an appointment with the hairstylist so you look more put together when we go to the trip" and I asked her "What's wrong with my hair" and she said "It's too long". And I just suggested I cut it after going to the beach but she was really insisting that I cut it before. But when I actually had to go to my appointment I texted her "Honestly I don't want to cut my hair. I don't care if it's too long, I like it this way" and she didn't even reply, she just let me do whatever but I feel like she's disappointed deep down. Her words are really getting to my head because she tells me "In this world people treat you based on how you look and if you look like that they will think you're untidy/they will think I'm an irresponsible mom". Now everytime I look at myself in the mirror I can't feel pretty anymore because I remember what she said and I really think my hair is just a mess and that maybe I should ask my mom to take me to the barbershop to cut it. She probably just told me to cut it because she feels embarassed in front of the other family members because her son has long hair but maybe she's right and it does look kinda bad. Do you think it looks decent enough to leave it like this or should I cut it? Like idk, maybe I should at least trim it or stylise my layers. I mean, because the trip is tomorrow and I still have time if I want to cut it.

Every single time I buy a dessert or chocolate from the convenience store and save it in the fridge, my mom eats it.

I often go to the convenience store with my mom, and she always offers to buy me something, so I always buy zero sugar chocolate. But the thing is I don't like to eat it right away, while my mom eats it in the car, I like to save it until I find the right moment, like when I'm watching a TV show. But when I'm gonna take my chocolate from the fridge my mom apologizes and lightheartedly says she ate it. It wasn't that big of a deal because the next day she bought me one of those big chocolate bars with like 8 tablets of chocolate, but guess what, she ate like half of it before I could even eat it. I had to put a big "Don't eat" sign. It just makes me so mad, why even buy me something if you're just gonna end up eating it? It also happened when she bought me kinder buenos. She bought me 2 kinder buenos, she ate them, so she bought me another one, I put it in the fridge, and she ate it. Then I went to the convenience store with my uncle and he bought me another kinder bueno, she ate it before I even had the chance to put it in the fridge. So I went to the convenience store again, I bought another kinder bueno, and when I woke up it wasn't in the fridge anymore. When I get mad she gets mad too because "It's not that deep and she can just buy me another one" but it is that deep, she is repeatedly crossing the boundaries I have establishes, and she knows I hate when she eats the food I was gonna eat but she eats it anyways. She's actually very fit snd she eats very healthy, but she tells me she can't help it whenever she sees chocolate, but I like chocolate too, so it's clearly a problem.

Edit: And don't try to tell me "You're being a brat, she's your mom" because you know damn well you would be on my side if I said she was my roomate.

AITAH for not washing my mom's dishes?

I'm 16. My mom is unemployed. My dad pays for everything but he lives on another country because they're divorced.

My mom normally cooks breakfast and lunch (not dinner) for me and my brother, so we obviously help her wash all of the dishes she used because it's only fair that way. But right now I'm not on school, which means she doesn't cook for me. And it's completely fine because I just cook my own food and clean my own dishes, but I swear I leave the sink completely empty in the night and when I wake up the next day the sink will be loaded with tons of random dishes. Sometimes I just suck it up and I end up washing them along with my dishes but when I go to the kitchen to cook again the sink will be full of her dirty dishes again. And then my brother will leave his dishes too so I get really mad. And that's when I realized that it's not worth it to clean her dishes, because it's not like she's busy with work, she's literally jobless and she only goes hiking. It's my grandma's house and my dad pays the rent. I'm really sure she could take 5 minutes to wash all of her dishes before she leaves the house. I would totally wash them if she didn't use like 20 dishes daily. Besides, my brother dropped out of highschool to decide what career to take, and he literally just stays home playing GTA V on his xbox. So I don't think it's fair that now that I'm on vacation I have to clean the dishes when he could do it too.

It may sound kinda selfish but if she's not cooking for me I have no obligation of washing her endless amount of dirty dishes. So when the sink is full I will just wash my own dishes and leave the rest behind. It's also something my dad has struggled with because sometimes he will cook something and because I don't like that food I end up making my own food and cleaning the dishes I used. So later he will ask me "Can you and your brother wash the dishes" and I will say "Why? I don't like the food you cooked so I made my own food. It's not fair that I didn't eat but that I get to wash the dishes" and he tells me "It's a family and everyone has to help". My brother tells me I'm super selfish and that I never help in the house but I do help, I just don't help when I do my own food and wash my own dishes.

Type me based on characters I relate to

I am not a social person, I aspire to have friends but it's just so much harder than it looks so I just end up accepting my role as the quiet kid, it's not like I mind, I actually have a nice time by myself because I'm always inside my mind imagining things, coming up with ideas or watching youtube. Because I have tried to make friends ut I simply can't because when I'm with someone I don't know I'm super educated, compliant, kind, because that's how I behave with adults but apparently it doesn't work with people my age. When I'm with people I'm not shy with, like my cousins, I'm super outgoing, hyperactive, energetic, and I just love to laugh about everything. Also, when I'm with my little sister I kinda age regress because I just have all this whimsy inside me but I'm never allowed to express it. When I'm having a good time I write every single event down in my diary, I will write the exact scene with the exact dialogue each person said because I just love reading the memories after some time and laughing while I remember them. I am a person that holds grudges, if someone is really mean to me (like my brother sometimes) I will tell them to fuck off and to not speak to me. If he tries to engage in a conversation with me I will just ignore him or tell him "You did this to me, why are you talking to me" because to me fights aren't something to be taken lightly, my family often tells me I should just forgive because it's normal to fight and we can't stay mad but if I forgive them it means I'm telling them "Hey, you hurt me but it's totally okay" when it's not. I'm totally fine with not speaking to them, after all, they're the ones that get desperate after some time and try everything to get me to talk with them, not me. I have a very strong sense of justice, and I get really mad when I see random news saying some rich kids killed a dog but they got away with it because their parents are powerful. I have the idea that they should suffer consequences, even if it will just "Make more violence" because I don't care, if the legal system doesn't give them consequences someone else has to. But I'm usually really obedient and compliant with authorities, I just get feisty if they're being assholes or being rude to me for no reason. I am a very hard working person, so I get super mad if the people I'm working with in a project aren't doing their part. I get really annoyed when people aren't efficient because what do you mean you can't follow a simple order and do your job? I'm also very sarcastic when people make stupid questions and people get mad because I answer snarkily. I'm always observing the world from inside and I have a constant internal monologue analyzing things, but sometimes it makes me overthink, when I saw my old (and only) friend talking with a new friend group when we got back to school I just assumed I wasnt good enough for them and that it's not worth it trying to make friends then. I often view myself as soft or sensitive, and I just don't seem to fit in with the other guys. I have never met someone as sensitive and introspective as me, it really makes me feel like an outsider, it's like I speak a whole different language. I always try to help everyone and I love to be there for others, but I never really get appreciated for it. I just think maybe people will eventually love me for helping them.

Am I stupid for memorizing an AI book analysis for a final exam instead of redacting it by myself?

Today we had a final exam where we had to make a 10 paragraph analysis of "The black cat" by Edgar Allan Poe. I'm actually super good at redacting but because it was a final exam I just got super paranoid and I was afraid of not knowing what to write at the exam, so instead I asked Gemini to redact all the text for me and then I memorized all of it so I could just copy it exactly in my final exam. And I mean, it sounds clever because it actually worked but I had to spend a lot of time memorizing it, so I don't know if I should've just written by myself in the moment.

I would really love making a cyberdeck like this, basically like a little handhelp mirror, but I just don't know if it's spacious enough for the components inside. I want it to be an e reader.
