I went to an eye test/contacts fitting for the first time and left the optometrist's place just as I went there, in my glasses & without contact lenses. I couldn't put them on and I'm very disappointed in myself. I was wondering if there's anyone else who couldn't do it the first time and had to go back. I'd love to hear something encouraging.

I feel like I wasted one appointment and if I can't do it on the next one, then that'd be even worse. I don't know if I'd have the confidence for a third one.

I'm not sure what went wrong, I could open my eyelids and actually touch the eyes with the lenses but then it never seemed to stuck and I always started blinking. After a lot of attempts my eyes started to get red and sting a bit so I felt like I should stop.

Also this is probably really dumb but it's not likely that I actually put one on and didn't notice, right? One of them felt like it fell out but then I couldn't see it anywhere, so now I've been thinking what if it's on.

My vision is still shitty and my glasses work the same so I logically know it's just my anxiety, but had to ask lol

I'm not saying our brother didn't have to deal with the mess because it was always all over the house.

However he did have his own room with his own key, and only his own stuff in there so it was on the tidier side. I was always jealous that he had this safe haven he could hide at.

Me and my two sisters on the other hand had to share a tiny dirty room that's maybe big enough for one person. It was used as a storage for my parents junk. The floor wasn't visible at all and to get anywhere inside the room you would have to walk on my "bed" (aka a mattress on the floor). It also had bugs, and pets kept in horrible conditions. I remember barely being able to breathe in there.

I'm just so confused because it seems like they did have the ability to provide a clean space for our brother but not us.

I don't mean the show obviously!!!! I'm talking about Gossip Girl as a character within the show.

I'm only on s4 so maybe it will change but I was expecting a whole PLL situation like how A tormented them. I thought gg would be very important in their day to day life but I feel like ever since they graduated high school it's more of a narrator and occasionally people send in blasts but you could take Gossip Girl out of the show and kind of nothing would change. They could all still sabotage each other without it (and most episodes they do).

I don't mind it but I find it surprising in a show named after it. Are there going to be more gg focused plots?

Bár sokszor megijeszt ez a subreddit, mert a r/roastme -re emlékeztet, gondoltam én is kipróbálnám, vesztenivalóm nincs. Elsősorban csak online beszélgetnék korombeli emberekkel (pár év eltérés belefér), aztán idővel ha kialakulna valami barátság, benne lennék egy találkozóban. Nem párkapcsolatot keresek, hanem barátokat!

Ha valaki olyannal szeretnél csevegni, aki magabiztos és tudja mit akar, akkor valószínűleg nem engem keresel.

Mit is kell rólam tudni... dolgoztam játéboltban, pékségben, irodákban, kormányhivatalban (talán az volt életem mélypontja), igazából mindenhol megjelentem. Nagy hobbim a Profession görgetése, olyan fun.

Emellett nulla rajztudással járok egy animációkészítő képzésre, mert úgy látszik a gimis megaláztatás nem volt elég. Valószínűleg nem én fogom animálni a Toy Story századik részét, de legalább szereztem ott is barátokat, nem bántam meg a képzést.

Szeretek sorozatozni, a nyálas kétezres évekbeli tini sorozatok a kedvenceim ahol semmi sem történik 10 évadon keresztül, de valahogy mégis lefoglal.

Szeretem az állatokat (oviban polip gondozó akartam lenni, akármit is jelentsen), elképzelhető, hogy a következő munka/képzés/side quest állatokhoz fog kapcsolódni.

Mindig is lány barátaim voltak, velük komfortosabban érzem magam, de fiúk ugyanúgy írhatnak. Meleg vagyok, de ha sztereotipikus gay bestie-re vágysz, akkor csalódni fogsz. A divathoz sem értek, általában úgy öltözködöm mint egy remete nagypapa (és annyira vagyok fitt is).

Igazából ez a poszt azokhoz szól, akik unatkoznak ezen a nyáron és szívesen chatelnének valakivel a semmiről elvárások nélkül. Engem az sem zavar ha nem válaszolsz mindig azonnal, én is sokszor ilyen vagyok.

Meghallgatok én mindent, de történelmi témákhoz nem tudok hozzászólni, az biztos.
