taken with an iphone 6s since i wanted that hazy/grainy effect. inspired by all the backrooms content i've been fed on my explore/fyp so full credits to them ! i really love doing spooky/halloween-type makeup but this is my first time creating this kind of look ! i haven't watched the movie (i'm very weak when it comes to horror) but i was very fascinated over the whole still life look. honestly not satisfied with the way this turned out. don't even get me started on the way i painted on the lips ! i've done better halloween looks in the past. i was pretty impatient and didn't take the time to properly work on the features. i definitely have to improve my realism skills but i'd say i did pretty decent for someone who is a self-taught artist + who randomly decided to quickly glam up in the middle of the night before a work day LOL. will for sure recreate this look sometime in the future when i have more time to really work on/correct the details. perhaps i can use scarwax for the nose/lips next time ??

i almost NEVER wear pants to a hangout this is prolly the second time in the past 12 months that i’ve worn one 😭 i’m a very short person who likes showing a lot of skin so i usually gravitate towards mini skirts and shorts LOL

these are from march but better late than never ! i visited a babymetalclub pop-up earlier this year (which is different from the latest one i posted about the other day https://www.reddit.com/r/Gyaru/comments/1w5cw2g/coord\_make\_for\_the\_babymetalclub\_love\_deluxe\_popup/) and whilst roaming around harajuku my friends and i found a 9090 physical store that had the cutest gal-inspired backdrop. i initially felt too shy to pose in front of it (i'm inherently shy lol) but one of my friends, bless her heart, "peer pressured" me into getting these pics taken ! so glad she pushed me to get some snapshots LOL

these are from the sanrio kirameki summer pool design series ! they were released about 2 weeks ago and i received my order a couple days later. i could’ve taken a better photo but i’m too lazy to make a whole layout rn so here’s a pic i took when i first opened my parcel 😆 i’m so sooo obsessed with them ! and as a my sweet piano fan i’m also happy that they released a tan version of her ♡♡♡

first post on this sub !!! gyaru brand babymetalclub hosted a pop-up for a couple of days in tokyo last month and i decided to pay it a visit. i'm honestly so obsessed with this brand, this would have to be my fourth time visiting a pop-up of theirs ♡

first time posting on this sub ! thought i'd share this make that i wore when i visited babymetalclub's tokyo pop-up store last month to launch their latest collection. it wasn't sunny however it was veeeeery humid (as how it usually is in tokyo) hence the sweat/oil 🥲

friends and i had plans to watch the latest spiderman movie and i decided to wear this top that i got from GRL ! it's a babydoll-type top that you can style in at least 3 ways. i was matching with a friend and she wore her white variant as some sort of a halter top whilst i wore mine as a tube. i'm also in love with this flower hair clip that i got from 3coins, it's originally intended as a hair ornament for yukata/kimono outfits but i say this tied with my coord really well ♡

didn’t get to post these at the time but better late than never 💓

originally wore pink bijou stiletto heels with these for the full gyaru effect but i sadly had to take them off since they were too loose to comfortably walk in huhu. good thing i brought an extra pair of sneakers (that still match the fit somewhat) as backup !

babymetalclub recently held a pop-up event here in tokyo last week to advertise their latest “love deluxe” collection so i obviously had to show up ♡ this would be my fourth time visiting a pop-up they hosted (my first being their BMC x EGG collab). ik there are people who aren’t a fan of this brand due to a couple of valid reasons such as pricing but i have money to splurge and love their clothes so why not LOL 🤣

swipe along to see some pics i’ve taken of the store ! a lot of the pieces from this current lineup give a nod to the heisei era which really takes me back to the days when my former gal cousin used to wear floral liz lisa fits ! i ended up purchasing one ruffle cami top from the store, however i did make an additional order online via their japanese site just now LOL. oh and i was given a passport cover along with my store purchase ! i used to only receive stickers from them as a freebie, so this was a nice surprise ♡ i think it was supposed to be a special gift for the first 15 customers of each event day !

honestly really proud of the longevity of my makeup ! i like taking selfies before and after spending some time outside and i really love how my glam can pretty much withstand any weather, especially with how brutal and humid the summers in japan have been these past few years. pics 1-3 were from before i left the house (pic 1-2 with an iphone, pic 3 with a digicam). pics 4-5 were taken right when i got home in the evening. i only did one powder touch-up in the middle of the day with some occasional light dabbing with a tissue here and there since i also sweat !

currently on a week-ish long holiday so i thought i’d do my nails ! went for zara larsson summer vibes as i’ve been obsessed w that aesthetic lately (i even posted a makeup look ib it last week haha). i’m honestly pretty chuffed with how they turned out, even though i should definitely work on using thinner layers to prevent spillage/overflow + being patient with the overall process since i lose motivation real fast LOL. i own a proper nail brush set but tinamad ako na iclean sila so i used a toothpick to draw on the finer details 😭 but on the other hand i am happy with how the pool water effect turned out on my thumb ! i’m an artist and mainly work with other mediums such as paper and makeup so i’m still in the process of getting the hang of nail art haha
