honestly really proud of the longevity of my makeup ! i like taking selfies before and after spending some time outside and i really love how my glam can pretty much withstand any weather, especially with how brutal and humid the summers in japan have been these past few years. pics 1-3 were from before i left the house (pic 1-2 with an iphone, pic 3 with a digicam). pics 4-5 were taken right when i got home in the evening. i only did one powder touch-up in the middle of the day with some occasional light dabbing with a tissue here and there since i also sweat !

currently on a week-ish long holiday so i thought i’d do my nails ! went for zara larsson summer vibes as i’ve been obsessed w that aesthetic lately (i even posted a makeup look ib it last week haha). i’m honestly pretty chuffed with how they turned out, even though i should definitely work on using thinner layers to prevent spillage/overflow + being patient with the overall process since i lose motivation real fast LOL. i own a proper nail brush set but tinamad ako na iclean sila so i used a toothpick to draw on the finer details 😭 but on the other hand i am happy with how the pool water effect turned out on my thumb ! i’m an artist and mainly work with other mediums such as paper and makeup so i’m still in the process of getting the hang of nail art haha

in hindsight i think it would've been better if i paired this outfit with pair of white shoes that actually matched the colour of my top (i own platform heels in a white shade that matches) but i really wanted to wear boots on this day so oh well !

honestly really loved the way this turned out ! it's always a fun activity/pastime for me to recreate looks that i see online. when i was starting out i used to think it was a challenge copying reference photos where the model doesn't share the same physical attributes as mine, but over time i think i was able to learn how to properly translate it to my own features ! my only regret is my choice of falsies. i didn't want to go for a dramatic pair like what zara larsson uses however i think i went for something too simple idk !

this birthday collection was released in japan at july 3rd JST ! i ordered some of my items online and some at a physical store, and i’m so glad i got to buy everything i wanted ! they didn’t really sell out as fast as i imagined, unlike the 2026 my melody birthday series from january. i soooo love piano chan ♡
