Just read Hawkeye My Life as a Weapon, and I’m confused…

Maybe I read it wrong or something, but can someone explain the ending? Clown guy shows up, shoots Gil, and Lucky finds him. Kate goes to California with lucky for some reason.

The parts I’m confused on are:

Why did the tracksuit mafia only kill Gil and not Hawkeye or the whole building?

Why does it never show what Hawkeye does about Gils death?

Why did Kate run off with Lucky? Ik she was a little mad a him, but what made her do that?

Again, I was kinda tired when I read it, but I’m just confused, please help me out here.

Which version sounds more interesting?

I have 2 versions of a story I’m writing, which one sounds more interesting? Fantasy story btw

Both have the same basic plot but with small changes that could affect the whole story. The basic plot is that this guys lives in a dictatorship and creates machines in order to help his neighborhood not starve or die. The government sees what he can do and basically says “join or we kill your family”. He knows that they’ll make him make weapons for war, so he has to choose between his family and the lives of countless others. He chooses to not work for them, and he breaks out of where he is being held, killing the leader of the government as well. Knowing that he is the reason his family is dead, he can’t deal with that guilt, so he decides to create a drug in order to make himself forget, basically letting him live a mew life. It backfires a little bit and makes a new personality in his head that doesn’t know about the trauma, while the personality that made the drug is trying to keep the trauma away from the drugged personality so he doesn’t have to feel the guilt again. Along with some other side plots along the way.

I know thats a little long, but here are the 2 versions I thought of.

Version 1: He starts as a human, and he is tasked with making a serum for the government in order to make dragonborn soldiers, he makes it but uses it on himself in order to break out. The drugged personality is the dragonborn side of him. When he swaps personalities, he also changes species without the dragonborn knowing.

Version 2: He was always a dragonborn, and the invention he was tasked to make was a device that could make someones body work to its full potential, making them super hard to kill and making them age super slow. He uses it on himself and the 2 personalities are stuck in his dragonborn body.

How to write a family being killed?

So my mc has his family killed by the dictatorship government because mc was a very brilliant guy who made inventions to help his community, and government wanted him to work for them in order to make weapons for war. He said no and he spoke out against them publicly and whatnot.

They also take him into prison in order to torture him and force him to work for them. Buncha other plot happens.

So, how do they die? Should it be like demon slayer where he just walks to his house and they’re dead, or like batman where he watches it? I was thinking that they try to hide him away and they get killed because they did so, idk tho

This is set in a fantasy world, think dnd, so probably no guns.

Watching kamen rider 1971, and I’m loving it, I have questions though…

I love Takeshi, but I heard that he gets replaced at one point, why, and is it permanent?

Are there any manga or comics for this series, or maybe some that explore other KR adventures?

Do I need to watch the movies? I know there are 2 of them, but I can’t find a ton of information of what they’re about, it they’re canon, etc.

Doing a psychology paper on L, I need some treatment ideas

I said that he likely has autism, schizoid disorder (basically is antisocial disorder), ASPD.

What are some treatment plans that could work for him?

Here is the prompt: Treatment Recommendations
Based on your diagnosis and psychological analysis, suggest treatment approaches or
interventions that could help the character. Discuss psychotherapy approaches, medication, and alternative treatments. You can suggest evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CT), psychodynamic therapy, group therapy, or medication, depending on what fits the character's symptoms. Be sure to explain why the chosen treatments would be effective, and how they might help the character improve. You may reference research studies, textbook
explanations, or therapy descriptions from credible sources to support your recommendations.

So, the MC for my story rides a ship that he runs a pawn shop off of, so I’m assuming its got a lower deck, and I was thinking of maybe adding another room or two for his other stuff and maybe a room for him to sleep in.

It’s supposed to be kinda medieval/pirate/fantasy, and anytime I try to do research I just find super small ships or ships that whole pirate crews would use.

Are there any ships that I could use as a reference when designing it?

Ok so to sum it up, MC has 2 personalities in his head.

Personality A created personality B, and now B is the default setting, not remembering anything about A, B believes that he was always that person. A is aware of B, but B is not very aware of A.

Basically, at some point, B is able to hear A in his head, giving B advice and helping him out. I plan to make this into a comic at some point. How would I show that there is a voice that he doesn’t know the location of… or who it is?

Also, should I do the cliche of the personalities fighting with each other? B doesn’t know about A, but A wants to keep B in charge and A will only step in if absolutely necessary, so idk if the would really fight unless A gets impatient and B won’t listen to him.
