How to go into marketing with a psych degree?
I am a senior getting my bachelors in psychology and I want to pursue a career in marketing. How realistic is this, and how can I go about being successful? I don’t have any experience.

so dont laugh but i hate working here so much with every fiber of my being. people (managers) are mean and the work is long and i hate it that i dont even want to go in another day. i was gonna quit in a few days but i dont even want to go anymore. i want to buy clothes w my discount but i dont even think its worth it.
why do i pour so much love into you just for you to not care? you dont even care that im sad because i loved you so muich. youre sick and i hope you learn to find joy because you suck joy out of yourself so much that it makes everyone around you miserable. its not my fault that you hate your life. its yours. treat people with basic compassion, oh wait you cant cuz ur a manchild. i genuinely dont want to see you ever again. i hate you. why are you such a cold, cruel, useless piece of shit that cant do anything? you cant go a day without getting high. like you literally cant even have a conversation because youre too scared. like grow up. you fucked up. own up to it. instead you make others suffer because you are too babyish to actually address anything going on in your life.
and through it all, my DUMB ASS decided that i still love you and want to do anything for you. nah im over this. you are a LOSER. and i am too for wanting to be with someone like you. genuinely ashamed of myself. im done loving you, starting now.
I feel really uncomfortable when people say this kind of thing. I know they aren't thinking much but it makes me feel like I am just a product of some weird fetish. It's like people that say that don't realize that actual people are born bc of love and idk if its bc theyre jealous or just racist but its weird asf to me that the hatred of wasian and mixed asian white couples is so normalized.
edit: i am not saying this is never true, i am trying to say that when people assume or overgeneralize, it makes me feel uncomfortable. it does make me feel weird that people make snap judgements of me, or my family due to race. ive had several people say things like this and make assumptions that make me feel very uncomfortable.
I work at Uniqlo, and I was expecting to hold my work to high standards, but the expectations are way too strict and unrealistic. The store management and supervisors are rude and condescending, and it stems from the upper management above them. I know it is because it is a Japanese company but honestly it does not work in the US. I can't even describe to you how appalled I was when I stepped foot and realized how they treat their employees. I used to be a customer, but I am a bit disgusted with the company and may not want to support it anymore. Just a rant
My cat passed last week and I miss her so much. I am scared I will forget things about her like the way she meows and smells. I never got to say goodbye. I have had her since I was 4 and now am 20. This hurts more than anything. She is more than a pet or cat, she is my soulmate. Everything hurts.
I just feel like I can't stop being like "day 5 of no contact" each day which makes this whole process more excruciating. how are yall doing?
I just want to talk to him. I want to hear his voice, have his presence near me. I have been fighting myself constantly to not call. How long does this feeling last? How do I prevent myself from reaching out?
Growing up, my dad didn't bond with me much. My parents are separated and I remember crying whenever I had to leave my mom to be with him on weekends.
He was an angry man. I was subjected to a lot of emotional abuse, where he would slam things, throw plates on the table, and scream at me. He would scream at me for any small thing that set him off. He would scream at me in public, in front of my friends, and never, never consoled me when I cried. But not just me, strangers as well, to this day.
He said I was a baby for crying. I cry a lot. I don't know why but I cry a lot. I think it was a coping mechanism to him yelling because it was the only way my body could beg him to stop. This made me hate myself.
He wouldn't push to spend time with me. He didn't give me a lot of affection. He would say "I love you" but that was about it. He told me his father never said that to him, and I do believe that he is trying his best.
I think he is trying now, that I am a few years into college. He tries to spend time with me now, texts me to ask how I am doing, and helps me financially as well as helps me with college things. He pushes me to do my best in school and to push myself to succeed. That is one thing that he has always done is that he pushes me very hard.
I appreciate this very much, but part of me is caught on how horrible he was to me as a kid. To me, he is a very sad, sad man that can't connect with people, not even his own daughter.
