This toddler at my church just started liking me but i'm leaving for college soon and I'm upset that he'll forget me :(

This sounds creepy and lowkey obsessive but it's actually upsetting me. I'm 17, btw which I hope will make this slightly less weird 😭

This new couple just moved into my church a few months. They have the most ADORABLE 2 year old boy, who is so sweet and always listens. He's so smiley and loves to talk. He's speaks in the most adorable babbling, but he can say basic requests (my turn, hold hand?, water please!, etc). When he first came to our church, he was a little shy, and only hung out with his parents. However, as time went on, he opened up and started talking to other people. A couple months ago, he learned my name, and a about a month ago, he wanted to hold my hand while he walked around the foyer. I got pretty close with his parents (23F and 24M) as they are very involved in youth, so I think he feels a little more comfortable with me than some other people. He always runs up to me when I come in to say hi and give me a big hug, and he asks me to carry him around. He loves sitting in my lap and babbling to me. It's so sweet and it honestly makes my day. He's lowkey my favorite person at church.

However, I go out of state for college in Mid-August. I know he's not my child, and we still have some time, but I still feel sad about leaving him. Since I don't come back until winter break, I'd hate to think that he could forget me and we'll have to start from scratch. 4 months is a long time for a toddler to remember someone he doesn't see twice a week anymore :(

Asked a friend to hang out...

I don't know what's going on. My friend is usually pretty dry so I wasn't too concerned about his tone or lack of punctuation. We did go out and we had a great time. I realized that I haven't called him pookie before, but idk what it is that set him off 😭

EDIT: Guys i love all of you and I understand your concern. However, I will not be ending the friendship over this 😭😭 This is literally the only time I've seen him react like this. When we went to lunch, nobody brought it up and the vibes were fine. He's really dry over text but super sweet, so I'm used to it! I'm still not sure what exactly happened, but I just thought it was jarring and wanted to share it. Maybe it was a guy thing I'm not aware of to be called pookie? He's fine, I'm fine, we're fine, EVERYTHING IS FINE.

I found porn on the family ipad search history and i havent told anyone

I was trying to find the link to a recipe i'd used in the past so i went through the search history of my family ipad. Instead I found a long list of various porn sites and concerning search queries. I'm like 99% sure it was my little brother who is 12, and in 6th grade.

Now, i understand that middle school kids are curious and this is completely natural. I myself was always too anxious about being caught to traverse this area of the internet, but I am aware of what it is and what it means.

It makes me viscerally ill to even think about it and I can't even bring it up to my parents without wanting to puke. I'm also definitely not talking to my brother directly about this. I've tried indirectly implying that the search history is there (talking about going through the search history to find the recipe, but not saying i found anything)

I dont know why this bothers me so much but i have to tell someone or i might have a panic attack.

Is my grad cap decoration weird?

I'm graduating later this week, and I thought thought it would be really cute to decorate my cap. I have a formula 1 theme, and the cap says "it's lights out and away we go!", since I'm going out of state for college. I thought it was a nice idea, but everybody I've seen has just their future college on their hat. I feel like it would be weird being the only one with a personalized hat, but idk. I've had some people tell me to change it, but others say that it's my graduation and my hat, so do what I like. Is this some sort of unspoken rule I don't know about? Are grad caps usually colleges?

How to fix Costco Kimchi?

I have attempted to make kimchi in the past and it has never turned out how I wanted it. Thus I have been on a journey to find the best storebought kimchi. I got the costco one and it's pretty close to what I like. While the flavor, spice, and tanginess are spot on, its just a a little sweet for me. Is there any way to sort of counter the sweetness without bothering the other flavors? I was thinking lemon juice or another acid, but i don't want to mess it up. Any suggestions?

What do you call Pacific Science Center?

I've lived in Bellevue my whole life, and when I was a kid, my family had the annual pass to Pacific Science Center. I was telling a friend (also grew up in the Seattle area) that i loved "Pac-Sci" growing up and went all the time. She looked at me kinda funny and said that she'd never heard anyone refer to it as "PacSci" before. She's always called it the full government name. People have always understood what I meant by PacSci before, but now I'm wondering if they were just using context clues. I know it's a lot of background info for a simple question, but it's been bothering me. Am i weird for calling it PacSci? What else would you call it?

I use my boyfriend as a study guide and he has no clue, he just thinks im being cute.

My boyfriend and I love cuddles like most couples. We're both very affectionate, and our love language is touch. We often spend our nights and lazy mornings just laying in bed together. I love feeling him, running my hands over his body, etc. It's rarely ever heated, but it's intimate. Recently he told me that he loves it when I trace every part of his body like I'm memorizing the shape of him. He was so emotional and touched by the gentleness that I told him I loved him and wanted to have every part of him. I didn't have the heart to tell him that I was practicing my anatomy and was definitely just repeating "Humerus, ulna, radius, carpal...". I do love him though and i ADORE touching him. I just find it's a really effective way to memorize anatomy 😭

Ok to mix conditioners?

I primarily use a conditioner (super nature aloe) that i found does miracles on my hair, but i have another conditioner (pantene volumizing conditioner jasmine and citrus) that makes my hair smell amazing. However, the pantene doesnt do much for my hair. I have considered mixing them but im not sure if the combination will have a weird chemical effect (idk how conditioner works). I have really dry thinning hair so I'm trying to protect it as much as possible. I feel like i'm overthinking it but i just want to double check.

I also use the pantene shampoo so im not sure if that will affect the outcome of the conditioner.

I am not a party person at all. I am very Christian and I try to stay away from vices such as alcohol and drugs. I was planning to admit to U Cinci, but I keep seeing that it's a huge party school. I want to make friends and go out on weekends but I'm not looking for anything like that. Do you know if it's worth it to go to Cinci and not indulge in the party scene? I don't want to be seen (by roomates or friends) as weird, or a stick in the mud :/
