I adopted this handsome guy today and both of us are extremely happy. He’s got such a great personality and made himself right at home the moment I let him out of the carrier. The rescue named him Ramesses II because he was found with a leg that had died, completely shriveled up, and looked mummified. A pharaoh indeed!

Hey it’s me, spontaneous cucumber girl, 5 days later.
I walked away from my fire pit last wednesday and was like meh let the animals eat them, I’m not even convinced they’re cucumbers. I don’t know why the idea of cucumbers growing out of nowhere seemed so fantastical to me, and I know everyone here said it was a cucumber plant, I just chose not to believe it bc what if I start caring about the cucumber plant? I left town for the weekend, a few rainstorms later, blah blah I go and check on my magical cucumbers to see that they are MASSIVE. So I had to pick the two biggest ones. I cut the biggest one in half and for whatever reason, to my surprise, it was in fact, a cucumber. It smelled like a cucumber, looked like a cucumber, and after further investigation, tasted like a cucumber. These guys are overripe so they aren’t very good, but now I have enough faith to pick the others when they’re ready.

Alright friends, here’s my spread. I asked should I download dating apps (yes/no), why that answer, and what’s going to happen. The Knight of Cups is like the romantic in my eyes. So not only is that a clear yes, it’s a clear and explicitly romantic yes. The King of Swords tells me that I should because I’m capable of being logical about things. I know what I want, how to express it, and how to make good decisions. Then we have The Devil. Which throws all of that logic and good decision making out of the window. I’ll meet someone who I have a carnal connection with and it will be toxic and shallow. I’m going to draw until I get a major arcana to maybe shed some light on this, but let me know what you think.

I have had some big leaves, yellow flowers, and little curly tendrils growing out of my fire pit since probably mid-may. I did not plant a single thing in there. I finally decided today to investigate further, and I’m HOPING that’s cucumber. pls confirm or break the news to me that it’s zucchini, really hope it’s not zucchini

After almost three years of living between two different towns & not having a place of my own, I am finally back in the hobby! I’m SO happy with how everything is growing and can’t wait for everything to fill out even more. I did some trimming and replanting today :)
I have a betta from Prism Bettas coming next week and I’m so excited to introduce him to his very own 13.3 gallons (plus some b(p)est snails)

I feel like my love life is the only area of my life where I don’t have forward movement. Which I will say is definitely my fault, I don’t put myself out there or use dating apps so the universe is tired of my questions I’m sure.

Anyway today I asked the cards what I can expect in my future partner in terms of looks, personality, and career.
Here is what I think they’re telling me:

The Chariot feels like a very masculine card to me. It’s about strength and determination, which translated to looks, portrays a strong man with a no-nonsense aura. Strong features, like dark eyebrows or a big nose comes to mind (or is that my own personal preferences coming through?😅)

10 of cards for personality is a wonderful pull. He will be a caretaker, committed to his family, joyful, and dedicated to making everyone around him happy. He also has this happiness within himself, not insecure by any means and only wishes others to feel as secure as he does.

The Hermit for career is interesting! I feel like it represents academics, either a career that required a lot of study and experience to achieve or literally working in academia. He is a self-starter. Others look to him for wisdom in their field. He works hard and is intelligent, but not boastful.
