Anybody got experience with having used both? I have heard that OB is good for use with all kinds of instruments whereas AM is mainly useful with guitar, but I don’t know if this is true. I would be using mainly with drums and synths. Thank you!
I have the three synths in the title, and because they are all the same width I get the impression it would be possible to rack mount them all - I think the Kobol actually came with rack ears. However I have no idea what sort of rack I would need to buy.
I’ve been searching for cases but everything I find looks like it’s for modular gear. Is anyone able to point me in the right direction, or alternatively tell me that this is a stupid idea?
Maybe an anime descriptor? I’d like to be able to filter them out when I’m doing specialist searches, as I find it highly unlikely that so many of the albums at the top of various dance genres have sad looking schoolgirls with big eyes on the cover art.
I really like the Korg M1 piano sound. I was looking into samplers that would play multisamples and found the Korg wavestate mk 2 and the 1010music tangerine - both overpowered and expensive for my use case - so I wondered if there is some cheap unit I can control from my midi keyboard that lets me trigger multisamples? Hi folks, both of these are on my wish list, but I’m holding out for a sale or a good second hand deal. Other than the possibility of getting scammed on eBay or Reverb, are there any dangers to watch out for with second hand units? Things that have been known to fail or be faulty? At least if I buy new I’d have a warranty - and that’s the main reason I bought my tp7 new as I’d seen a few unsatisfied owners on here. Thanks!
Bought a new Pro-800. I’m having issues tuning it. When I press the tune function it starts running through the settings, but hangs after a few minutes. The online manual I’ve found suggests tuning should only take seconds. So at the moment all the notes have seemingly random tunings. I also tried updating the firmware via the synthtribe app, but the app doesn’t detect that the pro-800 has connected. I’m about to return the unit as faulty, but thought I’d ask here in case there is something I’m doing wrong.

I’m guessing that Warp know that the number of people who have signed up for this will massively outnumber the available tickets, whereas there’s a lot of posts on here where people appear to be taking for granted they will have the opportunity to attend. So I’m expecting a lot of dissapointment come 11am
However - although it may suck to miss out, everybody is going to get a chance to listen the following week. Some of us have been waiting 13 years, another 7 days won’t hurt
