As an in resident and non-degree student am I eligible for financial aid of any kind?
There are only three 300 level courses offered in the fall, are 200 level courses considered advanced?
*400 is just independent study
For long term relationships (more than a few years) how did you know that it was over. that the compatibility was insufficient and the love was drying up unable to be restarted. I’m (25M) in a long distance relationship with a girl (24F) however when we spend time together for more than a week, it just feels like lots of friction and not on the same page. It could be the long distance, but it hasn’t always been this way. So specifically, how did you know it was over and not just solvable problems.
Would love to buy the sable camo hat if anyone has it. Don’t matter if used. I had one and then it fell off on a boat…
If I wear underwear (boxers or boxer briefs) I get this burning sensation on my upper right thigh (never left) minutes after putting on clean underwear after showering and it doesn’t present red or anything. I have used ointments, moisturizers, body glide etc and it either makes it worse or alleviates for a short time. I switched to 100% cotton and same issue, it’s not about tightness either because no matter how loose fitting or tight I have the same issue. Short of wearing briefs is there any other solution. Is it the hair?
Can someone explain how this system works? Serious question. How will 20,000 per person change peoples' lives
My girlfriend is not a quiet type or one to put up with any bullshit and not afraid to speak to her mind. However I feel like she deals with me the same way a receptionist would handle a pressing customer. Like monotone and just trying to subdue me at times. It’s a happy relationship, however I just feel like there’s more distance than there should be every now and then. It is long distance and about 3 years old.
I took a few years off during the pandemic from school, however I still was gaining clinical and research experience. When I came back to school, I thought I had enough hours and just didn’t do much. I graduated this spring and plan to apply next cycle, and will be starting another research opportunity and a clinical related job. Despite having more than enough hours already, is that gap ok? For the 3ish years since restarting school
I’m a recent college graduate applying to MD/PhD programs next cycle. Because my interest in philosophy is relatively recent, I have little formal background in the field, having taken only one course. To deepen my understanding and increase my chances in applications, would it be better to commit to taking additional philosophy classes, or to study under a faculty advisor through an independent study and learn directly from them?

How do religions that look poorly upon death explain technological advancements which have led to deaths, such as forms of transportation-inventions which mostly don't lead to deaths, meaning not including guns or weapons for instance which usually serve the purpose of harm, if not protection. Yes inventions have progressed society in the sense we understand, however one could argue that it doesn't altruistically/objectively as we have only raised our expectations and not improved our internal wellbeing.
I plan to apply to MD/PhD programs in biophysics next cycle. What do you suggest I should find a job in. A clinical research position, a wet-lab research (I'm interested in the brain, so something along those lines), or purely a biophysics lab. The last option may be the most difficult to find.
I recently decided I want to get my MD/PhD in philosophy. All my research experience is either wetlab neuroscience or clinical related, nothing to do with philosophy.
