Those with only bulk symptoms who had fibroids removed, was the change significant? B

I was diagnosed with fibroids a few years ago and told to just watch them since they were pretty small. Two years later and my biggest one is 10cm. In the morning it feels like there’s a baseball poking up through my belly. As far as I’m concerned, the only issue my fibroids give me IS that feeling. I’m a yoga teacher and when they’re particularly angry, laying on my stomach is uncomfortable. Now that the biggest one has increased, if I’m remotely bloated a lot of my clothes don’t fit right. And sex has to be at just the right angle otherwise it’s painful.

I’m in the process of getting set up for surgery, my gyno is referring me to a surgeon for a labroscopic myomectomy. I want them out so bad but I’m terrified not of the surgery but of the downtime. I’m a very active person, it keeps me in a good mood and I work out or do something active 6 days a week. The thought of the downtime is scaring me, not badly enough to reconsider surgery but badly enough that it’s all I’ve been able to think about since my gyno appointment.

Is there anyone who was in a similar situation with similar fears? How did you handle the downtime? Was it worth it? Did the fibroid removal change your shape significantly?

Joy Sunday is seriously underrated, hoping she gets an Emmy nom for her role in DTF St. Louis!

Is DTF St. Louis underrated?

I feel like most people I know watched it or at least heard about it. But I’m surprised by some of the Emmy nomination predictions, specifically that the cast and show aren’t favored as much as I would have expected in the prediction.

I think the writing of the show was great and it should be the favorite in that category, and some of the supporting cast (Joy Sunday, Richard Jenkins) were phenomenal and deserve way more hype. Very glad to see David getting his flowers at least.

Joy Sunday as Storm?

I think it makes a lot of sense, especially after seeing her performance in DTF St. Louis

Joy Sunday is my current style inspo

I first saw her as Bianca Barclay in the Netflix show Wednesday, and then recently in DTF St. Louis. I’ve been following her more closely now and every look is a hit. Slowly trying to build a closet that has the same vibe as this if anyone has any brands I should follow I welcome recommendations!

The relationship between Detective Homer and Jodie Plumb feels like a spin-off in the making

IMO the Homer and Jodie scenes are consistently the best scenes in a few different episodes. There’s a bit of relief in their scenes and the dynamic of their different generational viewpoints is really interesting to see play out with how they approach the mystery differently.

Richard Jenkins is great doing his stubborn-detective thing, and Joy Sunday as Jodie is hilarious and completely grounded at the same time. The intergenerational dynamic between them is so well-played by both actors. Joy Sunday and Richard Jenkins as a duo feels like they've known each other for years. Give me a spinoff please
