Na, just slowly going demented while we wait for the patch, I was thinking about things that haven’t been included so far that you’d like in a future patch.

1. Better pawn AI - STOP CLIMBING AND USE YOUR SKILLS. My number one thing that irks me is the time it takes my pawn to climb a monster and use his sword to tickle it he could have one-shot it with a charged up skill, but no!

2. More pawn interactions, I love the idea of them pulling you up a monster, but wouldn’t this be amazing for warrior and fighter pawns to hang onto a ledge and pull you up to reach a chest like mages levitate to get it for you.

3. More pawn chatter! Give them more things to talk about, to your arisen and to each other.

4. When you toggle “helmets off” for pawns, make it toggle helmets off for all pawns, not just your own.

5. More interactivity with your pawn, especially if it’s a high-affinity pawn. High fives are awesome, maybe a hug after battle? More things like how simple pawns toss rabbits back and forth to you, something for each inclination.

Any other things you’d like to see in future patches?

I think it was a video by mighty Melvo that mentioned this, and the guy is 100% spot on. When I think of the story of DD2 I’m not thinking of Disa or a lost throne, I think back on the crazy shit that happened that only us players would nod and completely believe what we said happened.

Some stand out memories for me;

When the game first launched and I got to battahl for the first time. A pawn I’d hired declared he knew a shortcut and jumped to his death. Followed by my other hired pawn declaring the same and also jumping to his death. I looked at mine and pleaded, not you too…. As he also jumped to his death.

Learning to levitate for the first time, looking at a gap in a broken bride, thinking, I can totally make that, and falling to my death in the brine.

Falling off a roof in venworth trying to reach the treasure chest my pawn kept telling me about, only to be caught in his arms, realising that they actually do that!

My first time fighting Talos, having nothing to help with stamina recovery, my pawn caught me so many times until we eventually stopped him.

Finishing the game (way too quickly, accidentally ignored the very obvious point of no return) reaching new game plus then learning about the different ending for high affinity pawns, only to actually take my time the second time around and get the true ending.

Watching helplessly as harpies plucked all my pawns and dropping them in the brine as I ran as fast as my L3 button would carry me to a rift stone.

Finally, facing my fear of Gorgons (traumatised to this day from the OG clash of the titans film I saw when I was like 7) and taking on the Medusa’s in her cave.

What is your favourite crazy memory of the game that has nothing to do with the story

I am going to quote from one of my favourite movies:

In other words, I’m not here to police what happens outside my subreddit. But bring the same behaviour here, and I’ll deal with it accordingly.

I’ve noticed in some comments people pulling folks comment history, etc., to invalidate or attack what has been said. Let me be perfectly clear, if you can see that person, it means they ain’t banned. Screenshotting where they post or their history is a good way to get yourself banned.

I frankly don’t give a fuck where people choose to post, so long as they follow the rules of this sub. By all means, if someone is starting shit in the comments, report that immediately and the ban hammer shall be brought down upon their arses so hard that their cheeks clap all the way out the door.

Everyone is expecting the new myth to come out at some point but Infold works in mysterious ways and they may throw another curveball that we haven’t expected.

That being said! Whatever comes, please remember to respect your fellow hunter. If you are pulling, are excited for whatever comes out, or get the mythical Providence pull, use the no debates flair.

With any luck they’ll come to their senses and actually give us all what we actually wanted; a road map, Valko, open communication but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Hello everyone!

Our flight through the Deepspace Tunnel continues to be turbulent, I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for keeping their collective shit’s together, however there is a few points I want to bring up.

1. When new cards come, and they will, please use and respect the flairs. If someone is excited about content for their LI, don’t shit on their post. Which leads me onto….
2. This sub is for the 6 LI and any future LIs should that ever come to pass, but it doesn’t mean this is a Valko-only space. Comments or posts trying to force or bully players for playing or not boycotting are against the rules and may get you banned.
3. Don’t get into bloody arguments in the comments. Users involved in a spat war in the comment sections will be temporarily banned. Report and downvote any comments that go against the rules.
4. Use reports wisely, reporting something because you personally don’t like it won’t make the post/comment go away. For the malicious reporting, you know who you are, it gets an eye roll from me at best and ignored.

Hello everyone

I know it’s generally expected that infold will break their silence at the end of the month.

At the time of this posting, we do not know what or how that break is going to look like. What I am expecting is another large influx of people when the main sub inevitably goes back to heavily moderating content, which is their right.

For newcomers to the sub, I ask you to read the rules. Specifically the use of the discussion and rumours/unverified info flair.

Whether there is any news either way regarding Valko, I ask that everyone takes care of each other, step away if Reddit is doing you more harm than good, and please, report any rule breakers.

Thankfully we’ve not had much in the way of bad faith actors, but if you do spot arseholish behaviour, downvote and report.

Another thing to mention, I also know there are other subreddits out there that are, shall we say, not in keeping with how all six LIs would expect MC to act, it is not worth bringing it here. As far as I’m concerned they have their space, and we have ours and never the twain shall meet.

I’ve been trying to find a definitive answer for this.

The augment states “increases damage dealt by your attacks when targets are not in battle stance” how gloriously vague, how capcom.

1. What qualifies as “not in battle stance” is it simply enemies not in combat or does it apply to knocked down enemies as they are technically “not in a battle stance”.

2. Does it only apply to the first attack, or all attacks.

Ive always had this on my warrior pawn combined with lethality. Following the logic of he knocks them down, triggering ambuscade and stacks with lethality if hit a weak spot. However if this doesn’t work, I don’t want to be wasting a slot that could go to something else
