I am so jealousss of girls who can just keep their hair open outside , i just can’t 😭

So this friend of mine (20F) sent me a Instagram reel in which an interviewer is asking a bunch of men whether they would like to date a brown skinned girl to which all of them denied .

Me (19F) and her usually send each other funny reels only but this caught me off guard because i am a brown skinned girl and she’s fair skinned.

I asked her why she sent me this and she said “Aise hi taaki tu dekhe”(just so you’d see it) to which i replied nothing.

Previously , she once compared her arms skin time to a friends arm who is even fairer than her which i found absolutely weird.

So am i being over dramatic about these situations ?

I usually wear nighty and I am always in a bun but today I braided my hair and wore normal clothes and they said this . Made me a lil uncomfortable what should I infer from this Lmao

Some relatives came over with their 6year-old son and throughout the visit he was quite rude. He kept saying things like I don’t like you and I’ll beat you and he even made colorist remarks about one of my family members.
I know young children can say hurtful so I’m not really upset with him. What bothered me was that his parents didn’t correct him or explain why those comments were wrong. Seeing them let it pass made me feel genuinely sad.
Am I overthinking this or is it reasonable to expect parents to step in when their child behaves like that?

My best friend and I have been friends for 14–15 years. She moved to another city for college about a year ago and things haven’t been the same since.
In the beginning, I was always the one calling and texting but she used to be busy so she would text me that she’ll call later but that never happened . After trying several times, I stopped reaching out. She would text me about once a month and even when I replied, she would often take over a day to respond.
We met two months ago but I didn’t really enjoy our conversations,they mostly revolved around her college friends. I feel like I’ve outgrown the friendship.
Today, she texted me(after 2 months)and even called once. Part of me wants to reply but I know it will just become the same cycle of talking briefly and then not hearing from her for months.
Should I reply or should I let the friendship fade?
