I watched the 2017 eclipse in a field in Oregon. The change was drastic with temperature drops and immediate reactions from wildlife. The sky also went pitch black.

Watched this eclipse from the top of a hill in Leon, Spain. I guess the weren’t birds and crickets around this time, but the temperatures also did not drop significantly and the sky was still slightly blue and pink during totality.

Anyone have input on the scientific explanation for the difference between the two?

Santa Ponca Beach is supposed to be one of the official viewing locations in Mallorca. Do you guys think the eclipse will really be visible from Santa Ponca Beach? Or will it be too low and a boat would be better?

Option 1 is the center of the city to Leon.

Option 2 is by a beach called Platja de Tora in Mallorca.

I am going with elderly family so I prefer less walking, but still want to have a good view during totality.

I was lucky to get cheap tickets in one of the early rounds for the round of 32 this coming Thursday, which will be Spain vs Austria. I think it will be fun to walk in with the parade of one of the countries, but I’ve googled and can’t find anything in regard to support clubs or anything similar.

Going to the World Cup at the Sofi with my elderly parents next week. They prefer to not walk long distances if possible. I heard that the parking is far from the stadium (apart from being super expensive). If we take the metro would the walk still be super far?

I have tickets to three games. I listed two sets on the marketplace some time ago because I might want to go to a different game instead.

Two days ago I tried logging in to both the resale marketplace and the last minute sales and I kept getting an acess restricted message. I hadn’t tired logging in since maybe like 3 to 4 weeks ago. Last night I got the access restricted message again.

I checked the tickets app and only see tickets for the one game that I didnt list on the marketplace. And the marketplace section on the app didn’t show my tickets that are listed on the app either.

So they’re not sold, but I also don’t have access to them. If they don’t sell I’m still going, so I need my tickets. Has this happened to anyone else?
