To those of you who are happy... How/why?

I don't get it. The world is just awful and the majority of people across the globe have no concern in this absurd torture of animals by the tens of billions each year, all just for transient taste sensations. It disgusts me to think of eating animal products through this heinous genocide and torture of animals within factory farms. I absolutely despise humanity and our self-righteousness.

I could go on and on as to how much I'm made depressed because of so and numerous other factors, but the point is that I'm unsure how anyone who can realise these abominations of the world still live happily. Everyday I just live in disdain of basically everyone, especially because I'm helpless in assisting in as much. One day things might get better, but any sense of activism now in part of convincing others just feels meaningless. Everything about life is just awful, beyond even just this issue of animal welfare, but I would appreciate some advice as to how any of you aren't stuck in perpetuated depression.

Which of the two new songs do people prefer (Katy Bar the Door vs. Living Undercover)?

I really like the both of them (still don't favour either), and I was very much so pleasantly surprised when listening to the both of them for a first; they're far better than basically everything in Ricochet and potentially in my top 20-15, if not very close to my top 10. However, maybe that's recency bias, but I'm glad to see that, even if that's so, Rise Against can still make good music. I'm hoping we get another album on this level of quality, even if it takes a long time.

I'm a bit disappointed that the two songs don't seem appreciated in wider music space, though, whilst the same pop-slop songs singing of transient, meaningless things like sex, money, drugs, etc. permeates the charts (which I really don't understand... even to live through such music vicariously is bizarre to me). On that note, it's also disappointing that, a decade+ later for some of their songs, nothing has changed, like for Re-Education (Through Labor) and Ready To Fall.

Dr. Strange is the worst character in the game. Hear me out.

I'm not sure what rank and platform everyone is in, but for myself in Celestial he is a throw-pick. Not only does he have one of the worst ultimates in the game, but by playing him you prevent your teammates from using his portal to win games/rounds. For instance, my team lost a game because the enemy team intentionally did not kill me and I couldn't die/get back to portal. Thus, we lost the game.

In contrast, they were playing Mag + Hood and were able to clutch a portal for the first point because no one was playing Strange. Therefore, I was basically throwing by playing Strange over any other tank (or at least when you're a decent bit into the game/time is running out); we would've won if they couldn't've swapped to Strange and TPed back. This is terrible game design as to punish you for wanting to play a character like this, and I'm sick of Strange being so ass whilst Mag dominates, as has been the case for basically the ENTIRE duration of this game's lifespan.

Additionally, his team-ups are just lame and pretty bad. They're reskins of Maelstrom that, comparatively, do very little. Compare this to Mag who got a clone and an infinite(?) ranged sword that can three shot squishies and it's laughable. Strange is doo-doo and the new buffs haven't helped him much at all. He is a master at nothing and I struggle to fathom any situations in where you should play him over Mag; he is a complete portal bot and only debatably better in very low elo where you constantly get free ults and can punish tanks for not holding space as to burst down squishies.

Netease need to fix his reliance on OT portals and give him new team-ups shortly that don't just mildly reskin his E. He is literally the Sorcerer Supreme and one of the canonically strongest characters on the roster, yet Black Cat somehow has far more magical abilities.

Danny Koo, executive producer of Marvel Rivals, calling a BLACK MAN racist for being disappointed by the initial decision for Storm’s summer skin to be released as an Epic

If Danny wasn’t the literal EXECUTIVE PRODUCER for Marvel Rivals, then any normal business would’ve fired him so fast for such egregious remarks. I can’t believe how insanely vile and unprofessional this man is and i’m not surprised the game is in such a bad state content and balance wise when such a terrible person is in charge of it. Storm’s skin getting changed to legendary, while good, DOESN’t change the fact this man is racist and needs to LEAVE IMMEDIATELY.

So... When are they going to fix this bug? I literally don't have the Lavaloon puppet; it's genuinely getting close to, if not already been a month following the launch of the new journey aspect, and yet this bug is still in the game. How incompetent is Supercell?

To my fellow Thor mains, in the event some of you didn't know, you actually move noticeably faster with your ultimate if you're neither ascending nor descending

In other words, if you're neither ascending nor descending you'll go 5m more than usual and hence move faster within your ult. I somehow didn't know this despite Thor being my 2nd main and having dozens of hours on him and always held ascend down.

Does anyone else think that Strange is pretty bad this season?

At least, when I say this, I'm talking of my experiences in high elo (GM+) this season. Regardless, neither of the team-ups are especially great, which is terrible when it's considered as to the fantastic team-ups other characters got (Mag, Punisher, Mantis, etc.). This is only worsened by the fact that Strange wasn't really all that amazing prior to this update (even with the Invis team-up/Groot was and still is better), and whilst the Invis team-up has been (and is still) nice, it's still just a mediocre buff comparatively and Gamma is completely useless; we definitely should've got a new move from a new team-up instead of two old moves that reskin his E.

Nevertheless, Mag just does everything better against poke, and Emma is much better against dive and brawl. His ultimate is also just borderline useless in good lobbies and most comps, as there are so many ways an enemy team can nullify it if they're playing well, no matter how intelligently, sneakily, etc. you use it (most of Mag's kit, Invis push, shield and ult, Luna ult, freeze, and, worst of all the new team-up, etc.; could go on and on but the point is clear). Strange is just no good and a C or B tier character at the moment, as even playing him isn't wise because of better picks, but you're also throwing because he's still a portal bot and so if you die last or the enemy team intentionally doesn't kill you then you've thrown the game.
