Material science at IISc

Hello seniors I might get material science b tech in the next rounds of joSAA and I have some doubts

  1. How hectic / rigorous is the curriculum (maybe m tech students can answer)

  2. How many lecture hours + lab hours per week?

  3. How are the placement opportunities?

  4. Can you study other fields in your free time and go for other branches' placements too?

  5. If I want a flexible curriculum should I prefer IITs like Hyd?
