6.5 month old choked

Well my baby will be eating purées until he's 17 and wearing his owlet sock until his wedding. We gave him the appropriate recommended size of steak. He managed to bite off a small piece with his bottom teeth. I watched closely and he didn't cough gag or cry. He went completely still and his arms started to shake. I threw my plate down and gave him a couple of blows to the back and he started to cry immediately. Nothing came out but he proceeded to breathe normally. I however did not lol. I am still shaking. I held him for a long time after this. That was terrifying!!

When did your baby start showing actual interest in eating?

My son is almost 7 months and he still doesn't care for food. There's been maybe 3 foods he's went back for a second bite but that's about it. He plays, throws and makes disgusted faces. It's kind of discouraging. I know it's normal, but how long did it take your babies to actually start eating!?

Co sleeping to own crib success

Just wanted to share that it IS possible to get a co sleeping breast fed baby who uses you as a pacifier to sleep in his crib!!! We finally tried at 5 and and a half months old. I was watching all the videos and reading everything about sleep training and I was feeling so discouraged because everyone was saying it took 3-5 days and they were putting themselves to sleep. It's been just over a month now and we are finally getting good stretches and success in the crib. It's so so hard but you just have to stick with it!!!! We are so so much happier having our own time back in the evenings and having the bed to ourselves and baby boy even sleeps better in his crib!!! I will say I do nurse him to sleep initially and then after that when he would wake up just for comfort in his crib then we would do a modified Ferber and set a timer. It was hard and definitely took more time but it's so worth it and he's sleeping 12 hours and so happy!!!! (Broken up but longer stretches!!)

Co sleeping to crib

Unfortunately I've come to the conclusion that I cannot co sleep anymore. My LO is 5 1/2 months now and I am so sore from the C curl, I wake up about 5-7 times a night on my own because I'm so uncomfortable and sore. I need to sleep on my back again!!!! Not to mention I want to pull the blankets up around my neck and be cozy and warm and cuddle with my husband!! Ugh. My son is on my boobie all night long for comfort, I think he only really eats once but wakes often to suckle for a minute then goes back to sleep. He is totally refusing a paci now and will just cry. I cannot transfer him to his crib until this is kind of dealt with. We tried one night of Ferber and it was awful and one night of nursing to sleep then transferring to crib and he woke up every 10 minutes looking for comfort. Idk what to do at this point please help

All inclusive + wedding

Hi! We are looking for an all inclusive for a week in December ideally cancun but open to others. We are planning our small wedding there but really the wedding isn't the main focus as we want something small and simple. We have two young children so can't be adult only. We want to keep it budget friendly for our guests. Mainly need decent food and drinks and place to sleep!! Would like a nice beach. Have been to the rui Vallarta and we enjoyed so similar vibe is good! Thank you

riu caribe or grand riviera Princess?

Planning our wedding for December and can't decide between these two resorts… We've been to the riu before in Puerto Vallarta and we enjoyed it. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.
