I live a simple live because I'm an introvert. Yes, I'm gonna wake up at 10 and watch Caseoh. I don't have to wake up at 7 just to prove I'm an "productive adult". Yes, I watch Tiktok instead of learning languages, cause where in the world I would use them, just to prove to some aunties I am an linguistic genius?

I wish I was born in a more laid back family & country, where you are enough as you are. And being you is celebrated.

From where I'm from, if you sleep til 12 - you are a failure; if you didn't study at prestigious university - you are average; if you aren't bending over backwards to work & climbing a work ladder - something is wrong with you, "you wanna live an easy life, huh?", if you didn't do nothing "productive" all day - you have to do 3626 tasks a day.

People don't realise they don't have to do all that. People like me can have boring jobs, life, interests, that seem "unreliable" because they are used to already "easy" paved way life: work, family, retirement.

I have an option to switch to hard drives, and change them every 5 year.

But even paying annually for online drives will cost me 3 times more, in the span of 30 years for example.

Have you struggled to maintain the hard drives and are 5 year changes good enough? Would love to hear your stories, will be grateful!

Like people who are sassy & mean, they get away with so much. And I end up feeling guilty that I wasn't good enough towards someone. It feels limiting, when you can't say "shut up" cause you don't wanna appear as bad person, or when you can't say the ugly truth to the person. I am slowly coming out of this shell, I feel like we shouldn't be tolerant & around the bush to people who are jackasses.

I always seen cleaning as one of the biggest chores that make people stuck, since I don't mind cooking. Cleaning is repetitive, boring, but absolutely unrewarding if you skip your cleaning routine.

The reason I hate it is because my family made it such a problem & deal-breaker. They were quite angry if I didn't follow the cleaning husstle as they were — I am simply disinterested in putting it on a pedestal. They will clean any free time they get instead of resting or doing hobbies. I simply won't argue over something so trivial, it's just cleaning. My house is always clean enough and that's it for me! I will never force somebody to do what they don't want, and yes — you can dislike cleaning — and what's what they don't understand. I don't put unnecessary importance, I don't strain myself, I don't think about anyone who might judge me for "dirty house". Specially as person with Adhd who forgets simple things, I still do clean almost everyday as I can, but not where I'm completely exhausted.

And mind you, I hire cleaners here and there and I'm planning to do it again, cause they are professionals whereas we can't do it as perfect as they can.

Another thing is, even if you "accept" cleaning cult, it will never be enough. There will be always something that needs deep cleaning, there will be always something you'll get upset over that is not cleaned, you'll be cleaning your whole life and forget that there are other important things in life — and it's a whole miserable, blind cycle.

I'm so grateful to be someone with neurodivergency, cause you won't allow bullshit, lies & illusions in your life and most importantly to follow a crowd. This works for me, my house is clean, I am free 😉

But now, it takes sh*t loads of time & effort just to watch a movie, just to find your bluetooth device, just to find what you are looking for on the internet without fake AI sites or hidden ads. Now even websites have limitations: they want you to login to read the whole article, and now — those pop-up cookies.

Here is more:

- it lags more than it used to, probably because you have to download stuff directly into your device instead of cds, dvds and etc.
- there is less customisation, you can't change your platform into what is comfortable for you

- simple buttons don't even work, they "simplified" the functionality and people are stuck with limited workspace

- there is nothing free anymore, no freebies in store, no free versions, less of actually useful discounts, they will always make enough money out of ads & collabs, but the greed now is inhuman.

And the question now is — how to change this into our own benefit, not benefit of filthy evil corporate people. Please write your ideas if you are already on it, let's share 🫶
