im a young mom going through it, i need some books about women who can relate and show the real emotions behind going through motherhood especially at a young age.

it happened back in october and i still think about it every day trying to piece things together of what he did while i was blacked out, its sick that i still miss him every day because he was my friend. after all this happened my brain started fawning over him heavily to cope and i hate it. my heart is so sad things aren’t the way they were, i was never romantically interested in him before that but i loved his presence. i’m so mad he’d do this to me then act like I’m nothing. he never responds to any texts, he never apologized, i’m like a ghost to him. i just feel like i’m obsessing at this point but i don’t know how to cope.

a bit ago i read This Thing Between Us by Gus Moreno and I really enjoyed the eerie bits when the narrator had to stop and really think about where he was or what was happening. certain things seemed like one thing when it was really another, it was like i could feel his brain short circuit at points when he realized something was up. i really enjoy the experience with these kinds of books. thanks!

i just finished Hungerstone by Kat Dunn and I’m almost finished with Carmilla by Le Fann. I’m gonna need something new soon and I’ve been into sapphic horror or horror adjacent :)
