Welcomhotel by ITC hotels, The Savoy, Mussoorie

Stayed at the iconic The Savoy, Mussoorie and absolutely loved the old-world British-era charm it carries. The property feels royal, elegant, and full of history. The weather in Mussoorie adds so much more beauty to the overall experience, making the stay feel even more magical. The activities included by the hotel were also thoughtfully planned and genuinely fun.

The only area that could use some improvement is the breakfast spread — it was decent, but didn’t quite match the overall luxury experience of the property. Overall, still a beautiful and memorable stay.

Managing Stomach Issues on Mounjaro

For context: 4 shots of 2.5mg Mounjaro, and 2 of 5mg so far, lost 8kg in 40ish days.

How are you all dealing with stomach-related side effects? It seems that i've had a constant loop of constipation (about 4-5 days) ---> diarrhea (about 1-2 days). Usually the first day after the shot and the last day before the shot seem to be the calmest of the lot, but the third day or so (when glapp shows peak, or just after the peak) is the worst. Thankfully i am on WFH but I do need to head out for work once every 10-15 days or so and I'm just hoping those are not one of "those" days.

In my first three weeks I've had only constipation - which I thought was a nuisance but now in the last three weeks, I am praying to get back to that phase where i didn't know if it's a fart or a shart coming up :p

I've been taking lopamide for diarrhea and pepto bisgram for sulphur burps (and also diarrhea). It feels like im popping one of these nearly daily now.

How are you guys dealing with stomach related side effects? Are they as intense?

Someone please tell me we all go through it equally bad so it makes me feel less horrible 😛 thx

Feeling an intense wave of nostalgia as Ted Turner passed away today. The man who believed cartoons too, like news, should have a 24 hour channel.

Here in India in the 90s, the Cartoon Network channel would switch to TNT channel late in the night, where one could watch WCW wrestling.

Another bit of Cartoon Network (I refuse to call it CN) nostalgia is from the time it introduced the Cartoon Cartoons block of Hindi programming in India, opening up a world of cartoons to millions of middle class Indian kids who would learn one English at school that sounded nothing like the cartoons on tv. And then suddenly one day, Stanley became Sachin Sabnis …

Then there was ofcourse, Captain Planet. Ted Turner was the real life captain planet, buying so 2 million acres of land and giving most of it away for animal rehabilitation… RIP Ted! Thank You for everything you did for my innocent indian mind in those formative years ♥️

Looking to watch movies where characters are kinda sad/gloomy about how the world is changing around them - leading to their irrelevance and being reduced to antiques in their lifetime, something that gives you a feeling of helplessness. films where this realization comes with a kind of helplessness. Looking for films where characters have a strong sense of inevitability (not because of impending death but because of fading away)
