Deny it or not, social media has had an impact movie openings and marketing,

For me, I'll watch a movie in any language if I find even one or two things interesting about it,whether it's the director, the cast, a poster, a teaser, or a trailer.

But these days, I've noticed that many people won't go to the cinema it's their personal choice which I completely respect , even if they liked something about a movie, simply because some guy on an online platform reviewed it and said whether it's good or bad.

I support word of mouth recommendations, but I don't really understand the obsession with online reviews. Personally, I feel this culture is killing the excitement and curiosity that used to exist before review culture became such a huge part of watching movies.
