I’m only on Season 2, so idk if Edie becomes a much more regular character, but I am absolutely loving Edie, so I really hope she does 😂 She is hilarious and says everything you think but would never actually say. Any other Edie fans??

I first wanna say I think Trap is doing the right thing by defending Celeste’s parents so adamantly. There are so many predators on the internet, and no matter how good of a parent you are, you cannot protect your child from everything, even if you put them in a bubble.

I have amazing parents, but my parents had no idea the people I was talking to and the things I was doing online. I wanna say, that it is not because they were bad parents, it’s because I hid those things from them, as most teenagers hide things from their parents. I am now 27 and I see a lot of my behaviors in Celeste, unfortunately. I don’t want to share too much personal info because this is about the victim (Celeste), but it is awful to see the things being said about her parents, as the same thing could be said about parents like mine and so many others. They are not responsible for what happened to Celeste, David is and it’s only taking away from HIS actions.

Anyways, I will share a TLDR because I think it might take some heat off Celeste’s parents since this type of thing happens way more than you might think.

TLDR: When I was 20 (not Celeste’s age thank God), I met a guy on Overwatch (yes, an online game just like David and Celeste) and flew to Brazil (I live in the USA for context) to meet him. This guy didn’t end up being the person I thought he was and I ended up being abused and SAed. This situation could’ve ended up so much worse for me. The U.S embassy got involved in my situation and my dad ended up flying over to Brazil to get me.

My parents tried to stop me from going ofc, but parents do not have as much power as you think. Obviously, I was an adult and Celeste was 14, but I was living in their home and many might have ridiculed them if something worse would’ve happened to me as well.

I hope my story helps take some of the heat off her parents. Please leave these poor people alone, they are suffering a horrible pain that NO ONE should ever have to experience. Let them mourn in peace.

I just started watching this show yesterday and I haven't stopped watching! Omg, I can't believe what I've missed out on. I've literally binged 20 episodes within a day. My I'm 27yrs old and my mom always told me it was slop. I literally thought it was a reality show like all those "the real housewives of xyz". Can't believe I've missed out on all the drama!!!!

How do you guys deal with getting overly attached to your foster animals? This is my first time fostering and I've heard that is the most difficult one to let go but I really have to clue how hard it's gonna hit me when I have to say goodbye to this baby. I really feel like she views me as her mama and it will just break me if anyone gets her and doesn't treasure her. She has adjusted so well into my family, no longer scared of my dog and my husband (who's not a cat lover) is even happy to see her when he gets home from work and spends the evenings with her. She just feels like she belongs her. I don't know how I'm gonna say goodbye to her.Any tips?

Title. I have heard bonnets work really well for protecting your hair from frizzing, breakage, and can help retain moisture (I live in a dry climate), but I don’t want to appropriate another culture. Also, I don’t know if it would actually even work well for me? I have heard mixed opinions, but most importantly, I would rather hear from actual black women and ensure it wouldn’t be an offensive thing to do if I as a white woman just start wearing one.

Hi everyone! I am 27yo female with lupus who moved here about 6mths ago and doesn’t work. I am looking for volunteer opportunities to keep me busy during the day, but due to my health issues, I’m unable to be out in the sun/heat and I can’t do anything too physically demanding. I have volunteered at animal shelters, worked with children, and taken care of ill family members so I believe I can still do all those tasks still. I hope there’s somewhere I can fit in and help out in the community! Please let me know if you can think of anything for me, and I hope you all have a lovely Sunday! ☺️
