ULPT Request: Neighbor has a wind chime that’s driving me nuts

I can’t figure out which neighbor though because I live in a densely populated area and I can’t see it. I don’t mind it during the day, but at night when I’m trying to sleep with windows open the sporadic chiming is maddening. Is there anything I can do?

I already have ear plugs. Looking for a solution to basically identify where the wind chime is short of knocking on everyone’s door in the city.

Building a robust marketplace for myself and not many others yet…

I’m having so much fun adding all of the features I always wished would be in other marketplaces and I think it’s really fun to use, but I’m struggling to get the sellers before the buyers and the buyers before the sellers etc. I haven’t done any paid ads or anything yet, but I’m looking to hear from others what has worked for them. It’s not so easy to just infiltrate the groups where people are already because so many platforms ban self promo!

Has anyone out there done something similar to this?

Looking for thrift stores that sell jewelry by the lb

I’ve seen online and at thrift stores around the USA that some stores will just bag up jewelry and sell it by the pound. I’m interested in procuring a lot of jewelry in order to photograph content for a new jewelry website that I am building. Does anyone know for certain that there are thrift stores within the Bay Area that do have bags of jewelry or alternatively just a lot of options for sale?

Anyone in this group that sells jewelry or has a bunch of it they no longer want?

If you sell jewelry or want to I’m interested in talking to you! I’m a solo developer (based in SF ofc) working on a project and this project involves procuring a LOT of jewelry for sale.

Offer: I would love to help you list your jewelry and take no commission (I’m doing this to learn). It can be handmade, stuff you were thinking of donating, maybe you own a store but don’t do ecommerce? I’m completely wide open! I only need the photographs and if that is even a hurdle I’m open to taking photos if it’s the right setup or a store, etc.

I am happy to share more info but don’t want to break the self promotion rules but if this was enough info to intrigue you please send me a DM.

I have a 16.5 year old min pin, and he’s teetering on with life but I wouldn’t call it living. He sleeps most of the day now, can’t see or hear well, needs a belly band 24/7. Ive noticed recently his legs starting to give out for no reason and he has problems getting back up. Cant do stairs or walks anymore. I can’t tell if that means he’s in pain? We have a vet visit scheduled by the way before anyone suggests that.

Here’s the real dilemma I’d like perspective on. We are traveling a lot this summer and I worry an emergency might happen while we are on another continent and have guilt about giving him to a sitter at this point. She is aware he’s old and loves him but it’s a lot to ask considering he’s one bad incident away from an emergency. Would you consider putting him down prior to the summer away or should we go the route of a game plan with the sitter? I’m not even sure she’d be up for it or that we’d want to have that stress while there. I also have 2 young kids so I want them to be able to say goodbye on our terms.

Thank you!
