Forget imax 70mm. Just watched Spider-Man Brand New Day in 4K HDR by Barco at Regal Time Square. My God. The picture quality in HDR is breathtaking combined with the bigger screen, and better quality sound. Even the pre show trailer looked really good. C’mon cineplex get the 4K HDR thing rolling across the board asap.

I was just checking the Scotiabank Theatre Toronto. It looks like 90% of the seats for all eight Harry Potter rereleases are already sold. The only seats remaining are the crappy front-row ones, just like at the Odyssey. I didn't realize Harry Potter is this popular.

Will cineplex be adding more showtimes in respond to the extreme demand?

Regardless of which party is in charge, I’d like to see the following immigration reforms:

-Forming a deportation agency designed solely to remove and deport foreign criminals, visa overstays and foreigner with a deportation order.

-Eliminate post graduate work permits and replace it with a time limited work visa based on job offer, degree requirements, salary threshold and a job that is related to the field that the student studied. Scrutinizing companies that offer job to foreigners to ensure domestic workers are not replaced. The deportation agency will enforce compliance and remove foreign individuals immediately and increase fine to company for non compliance.

-Eliminate LMIA and all other low wage streams.

-Institute a country cap.

-Eliminate student off campus work and replace it with part time on campus work. Students are primary enrolled in school to study.

-Ban on parents and grand parents super visa

-Close the loophole that allows anyone born in Canada regardless where their parents are from and stop chain migration.

-Every long term visa applicant must submit police report, background check, proof of funds, and sufficient proof that they will be returned back once their visa duration is complete.

Two of the biggest music festival in Canada and you have the gawl to put them on the same weekend. Osheaga owns Veld with that lineup. What about people who want to attend both? Also some people are travelling from Toronto to Montreal. The veld attendance might have an impact.

Why is there no outrage that TSN, CTV all other bell media networks blatantly use the hydration break during World Cup to shove as many ads as possible. People were upset about fox showing ads, but atleast they learnt their lesson, now doing side by side coverage. Money hungry bell on the other hands gets away with full screen same 10 ADS. Canadian media companies are the 100x worse than Fox in this aspect. I hope you get bankrupt soon.

I tried looking on their website and app, but couldn't find anything. All I can find are extended highlights and its in awful 720p.
