Hey professionals, i need your help

Hi everyone! I’ve recently completed my Diploma in Special Education (Visual Impairment), and I’m currently pursuing BA (Hons) Psychology. I’m confused about what I should study next because my long-term goal is to work as a faculty member/professor in the field of Special Education.

I’d really appreciate advice from people who are already in academia or have experience with Special Education higher education.

My questions are:

What course should I pursue next? Is there any particular degree/pathway that would be most useful if my ultimate goal is becoming faculty?

How difficult is the academic path? For example, B.Ed–M.Ed, Master’s, NET/PhD, research, etc. Is it manageable while building a career?

Which specialization would be more relevant for a future faculty career?

How important are UGC-NET, research papers, publications and a PhD for getting a faculty position?

Are there any courses/degrees that may look good on paper but don’t really add much value for an academic career?

I’m looking for honest advice, especially from people who have gone through this pathway. If you’re a Special Educator, Assistant Professor, PhD scholar, or faculty member, I’d love to hear about your experience and what you would recommend if you were starting again.

Dating apps are the worst thing you can download

At least that’s been my personal experience — yours may vary

It’s always the same formal conversations: “Hi,” “Hello,” “Wru?” nd then somehow the conversation goes nowhere.

Honestly I’ve started hating dating apps. I haven’t met anyone who feels genuinely interested in building a real connection. It mostly feels like people r just looking for something casual or temporary

Maybe genuine people r out there, but personally, I haven’t had that experience on dating apps
