FSD 14.3.2 found the closest parking garage and turned into it.

I entered an address on the UCSF Parnassus campus. My car discovered a faster route that I never even knew about, then pulled into the multi-level parking garage entrance when we got there. Impressive.

Powerwalls have priority?

Powerwalls are at 100% and I’m dumping the solar at a penny a kilowatt. Any idea why charge on solar isn’t working? Has anybody else seen this?

Full powerwalls, lotsa solar - car won’t charge

Powerwalls have priority? I’m dumping excess solar into the toilet (PGE pays pennies) and my car won’t charge on solar.

Any ideas?

Storing product in freezer without boxes

In another post I talked about a run to Sprouts for a dozen gluten-free products that I store in my freezer.

Some people asked why the boxes I took a picture of were flat. They were in the recycle bin.

I take a photo of the cooking instructions and toss the boxes to maximize storage space.

Driving on a bridge road noise?

You know that kind of hollowy metallicy road noise that you get when driving on a bridge? I’m getting that all the time on my ‘26 MYP.

I really didn’t think much about it until I got a loaner model Y that was as silent as a Rolls inside.

What kind of road noise is everybody hearing and have you done anything to correct it?

Sprouts market is bad for my wallet

My Chinese wife is not enamored of the potstickers and soup dumplings, but if it’s all I got, it’s all I got.

All the Feel Good products were $5 off today so I couldn’t resist.

The codfish is great with tartar sauce.

Tech say not to use Auto Wiperss

I took my Juniper refresh into Tesla today for several problems, one of them being automatic dry wipes across the windshield camera moving dust around. The technician said they’ve been told to tell anyone who brings in their car over a wiper issue not to use Auto because it’s in beta and future updates will fix things.

YMMV

Do you train with a flashlight?

I see so many of you with weaponlights on your EDC. I don’t because deep concealment is more important to me and I don’t go out often at night anyway.

However, I always carry a high-lumen flashlight and am trained on how to use it with my pistol.

How many of y’all train with a separate EDC light?

I read through this sticky, and these instructions on the Fellows website. I have some questions:

  1. Do I really use different target weights for different roasts per their webpage or should it always be 1x in / 2x out? Does anyone here use different target weights?

>> Light Roast: 18g in → 45g out / Medium Roast: 18g in → 36g out / Dark Roast: 18 g in → 27 g out

=================

  1. Fellows says an espresso shot should take about 25–40 seconds. Is time and weight only a starting point then you further tune for taste? Which is more important, time or weight?

Thanks all!

Just got mine and am dialing in. The adjustment collar holder is large and slippery in my hands. Does anyone make an aftermarket knurled version or rubber ring to slide over it to make fine adjustments easier? Any tips?
