People who bought the 17 pro day one..how is the battery holding up..might switch from Air

So I really enjoy my iPhone Air, but the battery’s been pretty crap lately.. Charge is really quick, but I have to constantly be hooking up to a charger

I’m thinking about trading it in and paying for the upgrade to the iPhone 17 Pro

In real life is the battery actually working for you guys.. Like you get a full day before having to charge it

Looking for a moving company (1 bedroom and no furniture) need them to box

Im looking to move from Bangkok to a different condo in Bangkok (20 minute drive)

It’s just a one bedroom so not too much stuff.

There are a lot of smaller items (dishes, statues, shoes, clothes etc)

Is there a company that will come to my current condo and box up all my little stuff and move it to my new condo. .

No real heavy lifting but it might be an annoying job to box everything up..

Thanks in advance!

Adidas x Fear of God Los Angeles Runner 60% off on Adidas

They are currently running deals on this shoe, and it’s a really beautiful shoe.. we’re originally 180 USD But I picked them up for 60 straight from Adidas.. They had three colorways

The quality of the shoe is top of the line. The suede is super nice. Just really feels like a high quality shoe..

Is the pale yellow color which, in real life, looks a lot more white or light cream.. Definitely a nice, clean color

With two colored laces, the pale yellow and the light cream, I think I’m like in the light cream

Very, very comfortable, but they run big. I would even suggest maybe a size down, but definitely don’t go up. I went up a half a size and they’re pretty big on me

After 6.5 weeks my Cream Ys-01s arrived in Thailand but still waiting on my Feb order

Definitely the softest slides I’ve ever had and I’ve had alot of OG pairs (Bone, Green Glow, Onyx, Enflame Orange

I also have a deadstock pair of Green Glow OG Yeezys and these are a tiny bit squishier than them ..

Quality 10/10
Shipping 2/10
Packaging 4/10 looks like a 12 yr old packed it but I love the dust bag

Timeline :

Ordered 2 pairs of White Slides in February

Ordered Cream in April

Many emails sent back and forth

2 days ago I received a shipping notice for the Cream Slides (already in Thailand)

Today they arrived

So basically it’s arriving by product availability which we kind of already knew..seems white slides are being shipped the least and a lot are being stained on arrival
So I’m not to optimistic about getting them soon and might just charge back with my bank

How are we feeling about Glossika as a conversation self study tool

I have an hour every morning to study..I just finished Pimsluer and was thinking Glossika would be next.

I did a few free rounds and it seems pretty good…how is the group feeling about it as a tool (accuracy, real life speech etc..)

I love Pimsluer but it was a bit too formal. . Im looking for something similar with a more casual tone.

Scam or harassment by Shoppee driver…anyone else?

I get a deal of parcels so i got repeated phone calls about a parcel and I kept telling him in broken Thai to leave it with security which is protocol in my building..

After about 10 calls i texted to him: How can i help you?

He replied that he delivered a 90 baht iPhone case and was never paid by shoppee

I received the case and paid…..all my deliveries are paid online with credit card before delivery never cash on delivery (COD)

So I screenshotted the receipt and text it back.

Then he said he was never paid and has no food to eat…

I told him to call shoppee..

Then he said i need to pay him or he will call the police…

So I gave him some laughing emojis and said call the police…there he went back to saying he just needs money..

I reported him to the delivery company and told him that and he went quiet…

Long story i know but just curious if he was not paid by shoppee for some reason or if this is a new scam to try and get money from dumb farang?

Testing out the Superblast 3 and getting a small pain…

This is my first max comfort foam sneaker…

I really like them and they’re fun to wear…

I’ve just taken them for a short run and walking around a bit.. towards the end of the day I got a pain in the right foot under my small toes (see photo)

Not sure if this is just normal me getting used to different shoes or if this is something to be concerned about

Right now, the pain is nothing at all. It’s just kind of noticeable. I’m just wondering if this is something to be concerned about or am I just getting used to

Is anybody going caseless with the iPad Pro?

I recently started going with no case with my iPhone Air and I love it

So I’ve been thinking lately about going caseless with the iPad Pro ..

I would use the Moft snap magnetic stand

Anyone doing this? I’m a bit nervous.

Long time expat looking to move into Sathorn area with a car (near a major road or tollway)

I’ve been living around bkk for a few years and know the city pretty well.._and now looking to move to Sathorn ( I don’t know that well)

My work is a bit of a commute and I have a car so I don’t want to be too deep into Sathorn traffic.

Would love to find a condo near a tollway or near Ratchaphuruek Road so my commute is easy.

I don’t need to be in the center of the city as I have a motorbike to get around Sathorn

Any condos near by there? Or certain areas I need to narrow my search to…

Looking for one bedroom large and clean…no need for fancy facilities…

Want a balcony…and need car park and bike park

***20K to 25K a month budget. not looking for room with this thread just condo building names or area (landmarks)so I can start my search***

I don’t need to be near BTS

Nike Vomero were too tight for my wide feet…so I swapped them out for ASICs Superblast 3

Nike Vomero were too tight for my wide feet…so I swapped them out for ASICs Superblast 3

These are very comfortable and against popular opinion I think the colorway is 🔥🔥🔥🔥..

the bright colors really pop in hand and on feet

Not really a point to this thread other than that if you’re on fence on the SB3 ..pull the trigger ..

Nike Vomero 18 with a wide foot 🦶

I bought a size 10 US which is sometimes my size (either 10 or 10.5).

These feel a bit tight on the laces area…circled area

If I remove the I some they feel better.

They are fine length wise

My question

Will a half or full size up fix the width problem I have or are these shoes just not for my foot

Got em…Cream Slides! How do they compare to the OG Adidas and some color comparisons

I’m still waiting for my original order, but I went ahead and bought them from somebody on marketplace..

I was very, very pleasantly surprised with the quality.. they feel just soft as the OG glow greens

The feel almost spongy..

comparing the two… they both feel just soft each other and as comfortable

The Adidas ones actually feel a little more durable and a bit firmer

The colour is basically the fear of God off-white concrete colour

u/rolemodel999 — 1 month ago

Pick a color for me!…I go back and forth…sell me on your favorite color..

I love the Orange pulse at first sight but I worry I won’t wear it as it’s hard to match

The white and crimson is how I’m leaning now..clean with a bit of a pop..

The football grey looks clean but I haven’t seen them in person and can’t tell if it’s like a light bright blue or more a dull blue/grey

These will be for indoor use and wearing more casual and gym shoes. . .

ASICS Superblast 3 …buying one size too big?

I found a really good price on these, but they are one full size too big for me and I’m not able to try them on. I wear a 10.5 and these are 11.5

I’m not a big runner, so I’m buying these mostly for being on my feet a lot, walking a lot and I really like the style and colour

With one size too big make these unwearable or can I make it work with an extra insole ..I don’t like a snug bit and I have wide feet

Thank you 🙏

u/rolemodel999 — 2 months ago

So I live in a pretty high-end condo and one of the main reasons I moved in is because the gym is really nice.. The gym is just for residents and it’s not open to outsiders for any reason.

Most gym condos are useless, but this one is completely legit.. but now there are about four or five Thai people who keep bringing clients there. Two of the personal trainers are literally there from eight in the morning till six in the evening.

Some of them live in the building and some of them own a unit… and I think the clients all live there as well..

There are a few coming from the outside, but the main ones who were there all day actually own a unit

A lot of people Thai and foreigner have complained on the group chat, but the building does nothing about it. They say if the trainer and the client both live there there’s no problem and if someone comes from the outside, they’ll give them a fine but they never do.

My question is is this actually legal for them to work in a shared space. They obviously aren’t paying taxes or registered.

It’s becoming really a problem because the gym is becoming useless now.

Is there anything I can do or should I just deal with it and realize this is Thailand?

Has anyone flew domestically this week..

Just trying to see what type of timing I need to get to the airport (Thursday to Sat) I know that Monday is a Thai holidays so I’m just worried this is going to be a long travel

Have the airports been crowded?

Or is it back to standard arrive an hour or two ahead of time for a morning domestic flight ..

Thanks 🙏
