I can't think of a decent title for this but it's the most work I've put into an SFM to date. I only had to deal with about 40 SFM crashes over a week and a half lol

I literally made this just to test how well I could use it lol
Coworker who is much better with computers than I am wanted to hook me up. He got me good alright XD
Made all with stuff he found. As far as the tower the only thing I paid for was the GPU which was $60. The screen and keyboard I paid a grand total of $43 dollars for, so $103 altogether
Ok, I kinda have to vent about this one...
I've been working on attempting to get a Hasselblad 1600F working. The first camera I got was "cheap" because it was completely disassembled. I took the gamble not knowing whether everything was there... And it was missing only one very specific thing: The curtain bearings. It just so happened that I found a second 1600F from the same year and at the same price in almost the same shape, except it was confirmed to not be missing anything and was much more assembled. So I took the much higher chance that I could fix this one. However...
A spring in the timing mechanism responsible for separating the curtains snapped in half(second photo, left gear; The squared off thin metal piece riveted on the post). But I didn't despair because had a parts camera with a good timing mechanism. After a long time trying to get it aligned with the curtains, it kept jamming. I removed it only to find that the same gear that had the spring break on the other mech mysteriously got marred(the three or four teeth near the center of the picture on the lower dark gear). They were fine before and are now ruined.
I think I have to give up after spending too much money on this. I'd have to buy a third parts camera to get this piece, these cameras are simply too rare to find parts for. I know I was taking a gamble, but the fact that the very notorious curtains gave me no issues but instead a single very important gear that I haven't heard of anyone else having any problems with failed twice just feels like a bad luck punch in the face🫠
Currently trying to fix the shutter mechanism on this '51 Hasselblad. However, trying to figure out how to align the timing mechanism has been a pain. Hasselblad's original "service manual" is just an exploded view of various parts, no alignment info. I found a manual on the Soviet Salyut made somewhat recently that helped with other issues, but a leaf spring in the timing mech broke so I've had to swap it out with another one. However, I cannot for the life of me figure out the resting position timing mechanism to align it. It's also been a fight trying to get the curtains lined up properly. I don't want to mess this up because the stainless steel curtains are still in beautiful shape and fragile is an understatement for them.
I got a 1952 Hasselblad 1600F for a decent price because a technician took it apart and never reassembled it. I took a gamble on this because I have no way of knowing if anything is missing until I try to get it back together. This'll either be back in working order in the near future or a parts camera for another 1600F or 1000F.
The Dude's door is across from the bathroom but they enter from the left. Am I not privy to all the shit or has this case become very uptight?

I got an early birthday present. Far out man, far fucking out!
The unit on the left was my first Exakta, which I have used for probably a few years now. On the right is a near mint early production unit(judging from the lens and camera serials, this looks to be from around January 1937... So one of the first units with the rectangular magnifier!). The only problem is it was seized and had bad curtains. I originally bought some old but allegedly good curtains being sold online, but discovered they had badly repaired pinholes. I could fix them properly, but the camera on the left had a failure I can't fix without another parts camera(rewind clutch broke), so it's gonna donate some parts to better units until I get another parts camera.
