28f I love the books, reread them multiple times and recently listened to the audiobooks and i am super excited for the new series! I love the movies and as all of the millennials i grew up with them but tbh i find so many details wrong and other then being nostalgic the movies don’t do justice to the books. Yes its the Hogwarts we love and they built the world we want to be emerged in but yes i really do think that the series can definitely do more!
I love the cast (except one of the teachers, but thats another post lol) i love the idea of doing one book one season and overall they are doing amazing so far! Cant wait for Christmas!
Spoilers ahead if you didn’t see the ep 8 yet.
So.. tbh the first half of the season was dragging and i was disappointed how slow it was going as we are used to the tense action plot. It really looked like they cut the budget on production or smt. Bot this past 3 episodes finally the old silo vibe is back and i am hooked again and stuff starts happening!
So the flashbacks - my theory is that the congressman and the reporter can be one of the first people put into the silos (although in the end of ep 8 they left). The pezz relic was hers so thats what makes me believe it, also the rosemary branch was one f the relics too put in between the pages the silo people found later on. My other connection is that juliete can be their immediate grandgrandgrandgrandchild.
Theory 2 - i think the apocalypse happened somehow but we don’t know what and i was thinking that the first people in the silo will be put there as an experiment at first to see how humans behave.
Theory 3 kenedy and Lucas will be back with jimmy and the kids to our silo. I was super emotional for jimmy’s mom, he is just a big kid at this point as he didn’t have any social interactions to grow up.
Maybe Camilla will be kllled or something and juliete with rob will plan an escape.
Also colin hanks was a serial klller in Dexter and i think heis the perfect choice for kinda psycho characters.
I am super happy for nox and shirley its super cute.

Just venting my theories
So there is a place at downtown la and we received 2 tickets back to back. Here is the info - my husband picks me up from that area around 5pm. Its a crossroad and there are some parking coin machines with parked cars. And we were sure that its a safe space to stop for 3 minutes for me to get out of the building and come to the car. Apparently there are cameras that take a photo the moment you stop, he was in the car and the car was near the parking coin machines. So we found that there is a stickered up sign stating a whole bunch of restrictions for parking that isnt that clear from the parking spots.
We received 2 tickets for 2 different days stating that he violated a bus lane parking restriction and and the tickets are $293 each! He disputed the first ticket in the parking violation office straight across that parking spot and we still don’t have an answer.
Please advise what we can do in this case🥲
Hey! So i(27f) looking for a gift for my husband (28m). I know that he was looking for some new gear to buy and i decided on buying him some good boots for his bd. I have around $250-$300 budget and located in la. So basically i need advice from a bunch of men what boots to get!
His parameters 6” tall, 11.5 shoes, he is fit and heavy around 210lb
Criteria - high top, good for both hot and colder seasons, not brown/black, can be tan/green or dessert colors or something like that. Also i know he doesn’t like the design of the zephyr boots.

Hi, so i (28f) recently moved to LA from another country and i am just trying to get my drivers license. My husband (28m) that lives here for 5 years already is an amazing and reliable driver, he has a background in delivery and uber black so he has some good experience. Soooo i started driving with an instructor, passes the writing test and after that decided that i can show my skills to my husband finally. It was nighttime and we were driving in a narrow neighborhood street when i almost scratched the car🥲 one car was parked at an angle and the front of the car was sticking out of the line of cars. My husband told me to keep left, i didn’t move, told again louder and again i didn’t move the wheel and almost hit the car. After that he yelled to keep left and i just passed the car almost 2 inches away never keeping left.
I know i am a slight AH in this case cause i thought i was seeing everything and didn’t react in time. He is super angry and keeps yelling at me occasionally that i could have hit the car cause i wasn’t listening to him!
So i just needed to vent here please comment what you think.
