Won my first run!

Woo! Kinda felt like I cheated tho as I got all my jokers by the end of the 2nd ante.

One that gives 0.25X for every card you add to your hand. Then one that adds a card to your hand each round. Then I'd just buy a card every time a card pack was in the store. Had like a 100 card deck.

Then I had the joker that let's you skip numbers to get a straight and went all in on the Saturn planet card.

Beat the last boss in a single hand. Boom!

How long does a day take late game?

So I've got about 20hrs played and I haven't even unlocked my first piece of track yet! I've bought just one train and a few more wagons. It takes me like an hour or more just to do one day even on my tiny track between Whittier and Ela.

I love Steam trains, so watching them is fun, but I can't help but feel like I'd burn out from moving all the wagons on a full line. How long does that even take??

Any mod to make truck density a bit more realistic?

Having 100+ trucks serve one station has always seemed very odd to me. Is there some mod that balances it to be a bit more realistic? Perhaps increasing load capacity but also maintenance cost at the same time?

Or have things changed? I haven't played in a long time and was thinking of getting back into it, but this mechanic always bugged me.

I've only ever drunk beer & wine. Suggest me a liquor.

I'm a lover of dark beers like porter and stout. And with wine I'm on team red.

Only liquors I've ever really tried are vodka, tequila, and whiskey. And tbh, I don't really like any of them. Looking for something to sip on after work on Friday.

TWF vs Growth - 25yrs

My kiwisaver is in Simplicity Growth. I just match what my employer gives me (4%). Currently any extra I want to invest for retirement I put into a separate Growth fund with Simplicity.

I just opened an account with InvestNow to join their TWF and my plan was to split my additional deposits evenly between that and Simplicity Growth. Would you consider that worthwhile? Or should I just put it all in TWF?

The TWF has done very well (presumably thanks to tech stocks) in the last 3yrs, but I guess that may not always be the case. It seems like splitting might be better but I imagine there are a lot of stocks overlapping between the two anyway.

Just trying to save for retirement as I was way too late to the party and didn't start my KS until I was 35 (foolish me). Now I'm in a good paying job so trying to invest/save what I can.

Buying Silver

Yo, I want to buy some silver. Never bought metals before. Any recommendations? And no, I don't need people telling me not to buy thank you.

ARPG with really weighty and satisfying combat?

Does a game exist with an arpg type of progression and itemization but with really satisfying combat? I want to slice demons in half, or smash their face and watch their head fly off. I want to see blood and entrails flying. I want ragdoll physics. Etc. You get the idea. Maybe such a game doesn't exist, but either way, what's your fav arpg in terms of combat feel?

Lord of Hatred vs D2R?

I played D4 when it launched and sort of bounced off it after season 1 (and went and played Grimdawn), so it's been a while. Kind of getting an arpg itch, but damn, the expansion isn't cheap. I've heard it is good tho. However, can pick up D2R for less which is also a game I've always wanted to grab (never played original D2). Which would you choose?
