Good day,

Is there something that I should be really worried about?
I’ll have my next appointment on August 21st.
I’m just worried because I have been bleeding out for 16 days already. I was diagnosed to have PCOS/PMOS last October 2025.
I was prescribed to take pills (Cyproterone Acetate Ethinylestradiol) “Altea Pills” the same month I was diagnosed. Never had any problems with my monthly period while taking the pills, it comes on time and usually takes about 3-7 days.
However, just now. I had an emergency appendectomy last July 25 (Saturday). The last time I took my pills was on July 24th (Friday). With the surgery approaching, I need to undergo “NPO” or Nothing Per Orem. Means I have to go “fasting” (no drinking or eating) to prepare for it.
It took me 5 days of NPO before I could finally eat and drink again.
I still have 9 pills left, and I started taking one on July 30th (Thursday) until August 2nd (Sunday) and I restarted a new pack on August 3rd (Monday) and discarded the rest since there’s 5 left. I simply followed the instruction on how to take the pills as said on the packet.
And now I’m bleeding straight for 16 days which has not happened before.
I’m just worried, did I do the right thing? Or I misunderstood? Please help.

Good day Kunars,
I’m a first time nurse who applied for job opportunities abroad. I have 1 year clinic experience and 3 months in bedside.
Today, I received a job offer in KSA under Al Mawarid Company and I received a phone call interview for a job opportunity in Germany.
However here are the following cases:
KSA
- Already have a Job offer
- 2 years contract
- 4,200 salary + 300 food allowance
- Position: Staff Nurse
- Faster employment
- 8 working hours + 1 hour break (6 days per week)
Germany
- No job offer yet
- Subject for approval (clinic nurse experience)
- 38-40 hours per week
- Free uniforms provided
- 2,600 - 4,600 euro (depending on eligibility recognized or partially recognized)
- family unification program
- unlimited residence visa
- Estimated 1 year before deployment (due to the process such as Language Training program, Recognition, Authentication, etc).
- Work-life balance
- Can travel across 9 different borders in Germany
I know there isn’t an easy way, but I don’t want to settle here in the Philippines. Overworked and Underpaid.
Your advices/opinions/insights about this is a big help for me. I’m lost, Idk what to do anymore :((
I will probably take this down soon. I need advice lang.
After 3 months in bedside, I decide to resign. Because my mental, physical, and emotional health are affected. I no longer feel that motivation anymore.
I tried to explain everything to my head nurse that I am not really okay.
And today, I submitted my immediate resignation. Acknowledge naman ng supervisor ko. However, ayaw i-grant ang letter ko at ang sabi I can be sued for breach of contract (since I signed a contract na may 6 months probationary period and 30 days notice).
Please help.
Good day,
I’m a registered nurse and currently I have 2 months of bedside experience. However, gusto ko na mag resign kasi pakiramdam ko talagang hindi ako for bedside nursing.
Any suggestions or opinions about applying as an HVA?
Please help😭
Hello,
4 days ago I posted something here on reddit too. Stating what I’m feeling as a bedside nurse. I just want to seek advice whether I should continue or not. I’m into bedside na for only 2 months palang.
I had 3 days off, 2 Shifts AM (pero hindi ako nakapasok because everything took a toll on me. I needed a break kasi feel ko talaga hindi para sa akin ang bedside, kaya nag absent ako). Then I had 1 day off, tapos 3 shifts PM. But then eventually, nagkasakit ako (Mild UTI, SVI). So yung doctor binigyan ako ng 3 days bed rest from June 26-28.
I still have pasok tomorrow (June 29) PM shift tapos day off ko na ulit ng 2 days.
I always feel anxious before and every after shift, I feel overwhelmed, my mood shifts, I feel helpless (dahil sa unsafe na nurse-patient ratio, mababang sahod tapos overworked ka), I have difficulty in concentration, I constantly worry, I forget a lot of things, I feel mentally exhausted, I experience headache, rapid heartbeat, indigestion, fatigue, and having difficulty of sleeping.
Should I continue? or not?
I’m open for any advice, anything will surely help.
Hi everyone,
Mag express lang ako ng nararamdaman ko. This year, I quit my soft nursing era and decided na mag bedside for experience. But right now, I start to feel na hindi para sa akin ang bedside.
I feel scared and tinatamad at the same time. Though my seniors and other colleagues are not toxic naman, pero feel ko talaga na hindi para sa akin tong tinatahak ko.
I am no longer happy with the state I’m currently in with.
Good day po,
I just want to know any thoughts and opinions lang about Eastwest Placement Center, Inc. and Al Mawaria Company. What does it mean po ba?
I'm up on my final interview na po today.
I have 1 year of clinic nurse experience and currently 2 months na po sa bedside.
Please respect my post po, first time ko.
Salamat po.
