so i've only played Far Cry 3 years ago, but Far Cry 5 is on sale right now with Far Cry New Dawn in a bundle, so i was wondering if is worth. i've heard that Far Cry 3 and 4 are the best ones and the others is not too good, it is true?
and i saw some gameplay videos from the game and it seems pretty fun and the graphics are good too, but i'm afraid the game is to repetitive, so what do you guys think?
so, the only Metal Gear game i've ever played is The Phantom Pain and i'm in love with that game! i understood almost nothing of the story, but i loved the gameplay and all the freedom the game gives you to complete a mission.
i did some research and I think chronologically Metal Gear Solid 3 is the first, so i'd like to play it to get to know the franchise better. however, Metal Gear 3 is an old game and since a remake recently came out, I was thinking of playing it.
so, should i buy Metal Gear Solid Δ? from what i've seen, MGSΔ is a more linear game and not open world like MSGV, but the open world and freedom of Phantom Pain are what made me fall in love with the game, so i'm afraid i won't like Metal Gear 3.
i accidentally ran over this guy 😞 he makes this fear pose and i felt sorry for him, but i couldn't resist taking a picture
i'm encountering this error while playing Death Stranding on PC. this error only appeared when i started the game, but now it's started appearing during gameplay.
i've tried a few ways to solve it, but nothing worked. i tried changing the API to Vulkan in the Steam launch options, changed the resolution, changed the FPS limit... nothing works!
i also did some research and saw that i'm not the only one with this problem, but i still haven't found a definitive solution.
my setup:
RX7600 XFX
Ryzen 5 5500
16gb Ram Asgard
MSI MAG A650BN
can anyone help me?
my question might be very dumb, but i'm wondering how they made this sound in the melody on this song called "Froyo" by Hans.
it sounds like a rhodes or a synth, idk. this sound it's familiar to me, but i can't define it.
can anyone help me?
i started playing Cities: Skylines 1, i'm about 9 hours into the game and i still haven't managed to build a good city. the furthest i've gotten is 3k population, but problems started to creep in. low electricity, low water, lots of sewage and people dying... a big mess!
one of the biggest problems i face in this game is the money too! while the city was facing problems, i didn't have the money to solve them.
and another big problem i face is city organization. in a few minutes my city becomes a total mess and I can't fix it. i really wanted a beautiful city like the images i see on this subreddit.
i even tried playing the infinite money mode, but the game quickly lost its appeal lol
i'm interested in strategy games and i know Paradox is a reference in the genre, so i'm interested in playing Stellaris. i like the space vibe. but i have some questions about the game:
* i've never played other strategy games, is Stellaris a difficult game? i mean more in terms of the game mechanics, i see screenshots of the game on Steam and i'm overwhelmed by the amount of information on the screen lol
* is this game seasonal like ARPGs such as Diablo? the Steam cover says something like "Season 10 Available Now"
* i saw that the game has many DLCs, do i need to worry about buying some of them now?
i've always been a fan of Valve games. i love Portal and and Left 4 Dead series, but I never liked Valve's main game, Half-Life.
like Portal is an action game focused on puzzles, honestly one of the best puzzle games ever made. Left 4 Dead is one of the best and fun zombie games to play with friends. But Half-Life is just an FPS, and... that's it! It doesn't have the brilliant puzzles of Portal or the fun gameplay of Left 4 Dead, Half-Life it's nothing more than an shooter to me, and if I'm going to play an shooter, i prefer something more fun than Half-Life.
i know this game was extremely revolutionary, and I respect that, but for me, that's one of the problems too. the entire appeal of this game is like: "this game was one of the most revolutionary ones in history," but "revolutionary" doesn't mean "fun", and that's what Half-Life means to me.
maybe if I were old enough to have played Half-Life at launch in 1998, my opinion would be different, but that's not the case.

i was thinking about getting into the world of city builders and Cities Skylines immediately came to mind. i've never played any game of this genre, so this would be my first experience.
i'm a little afraid of the game's difficulty, since at first it seems like a relaxing game, but the more i research about this game, the harder Cities Skylines seems to be.
also should i buy any DLC to improve (or make easier) my experience?

i played a bit of Death Stranding and really liked the vibe and gameplay, but i couldn't continue. i felt there were too many cutscenes and information. i wanted a more relaxing game to play while listening to a podcast, not something that would be too demanding.
so i'd like to know if there are any relaxing games similar to Death Stranding but simpler.
i wanna buy Euro Truck Simulator 2 but i feel like i'll miss out on a lot of the experience if i play with a controller or keyboard. i don't have money to buy an steering wheel right now, so i'll play with my 8bitdo controller.
you guys who play Euro Truck Simulator, what do you use to play? let me know
i'm looking for a fun game that I can spend hours playing, and No Man's Sky seems like the right one! the space vibe really appeals to me, and it seems like a light and not too difficult game.
i still have some questions:
° i know the game's launch was quite controversial, but apparently they've improved a lot. i'd like to know how much they've improved compared to the launch
° i saw that the game map is procedurally generated, so is it difficult to find other players?
° is No Man's Sky a game that gets boring quickly, or does it have a lot of content to do?
*newbie here!*
this is just a daily challenge in chess.com, but i don't understand why this is checkmate. can't the king simply go to H8?
