How to display?

Should I display these for the summer? Or save them for the next 4th of July? Right now they're in a plastic envelope. I normally keep cards in a binder but these feel ✨too special✨ to just put in a binder.

Finally have (some) answers!

Wow it's been a month(?) or more since I posted last.

I have stage 3 steatosis of the liver and no fibrosis. Need to focus on diet and addition of medication and weight loss.

I also had a HIDA scan. That found biliary dyskinesia with an ejection fraction of 29.73% which is low. There were no blockages or stones. So the gallbladder also doesn't work right. Cool.

I then had a gastric emptying study done. That found that 84% of my meal was emptied after ONE HOUR, and 99% by hour 3. So I have abnormally rapid gastric emptying as well.

We also found via CT scan my spleen is enlarged. I've been a diabetic for over a decade. After seeing my new endocrinologist and doing labs they also found my A1C was 7.6% (😭) and that I have high cholesterol too.

On top of all of this the allergist found I have mild asthma and more food allergies. Still waiting for a skin test for more foods to confirm if anyore are being added or subtracted. I am also seeing a PT to help my heel and ankle spurs for like a month or so before they determine if I need surgery to resolve. This has limited my walking and ability to workout safely.

I am still continuing to lose weight, since I posted last I'm down another 12+ pounds.

My diet has really shrunk again. Chicken (breast or ground), green beans cooked to pulp (the more cooked, the easier on my stomach), rice or rice noodles with coconut aminos (to replace soy which I'm allergic to), other cooked veggies, some fruit, mostly berries or sometimes halos/oranges and red grapes. I have very little oil and fat at each meal, enough so the gallbladder doesn't freeze. The only added sugar I've really had has been maple syrup or stevia in the raw.

I also started eating smaller meals and waiting for beverages 45+ minutes after or before meals.

I'm so sick of doctor appointments and going to be the hospital which is super far and inconvenient (lack of public transportation). Between the summer heat affecting my POTS and the food issues, I'm just at a loss still. No one seems to have full answers. It's a lot of finger pointing, go see this Dr, or oh idk go talk to that dr. It's annoying. Most of my doctors are in the same system but my endocrinologist and allergist are not (😭) so I'm playing the telephone game with those people.

I am overly stressed. Does anyone else who has this stage of fatty liver also have these other issues (or some)? I need advice on what else to do.

Feel disrespected by the allergist

I had a follow up visit to blood work and an outdoor allergies skin test today. When going over my allergies, I mentioned that I'm allergic to all forms of soy despite the blood work being negative, also mentioned I've been to the ER 7 times over the years for said reaction

The allergist flat out told me to my face, "I respectfully disagree with your soy allergy and reaction because you can be allergic to soybean oil."

He gave no other recommendations other than we will do a skin test for food next. I feel incredibly disrespected by this doctor.

Updated on my July 4th offer!

I filled the offer with Parker and Simbas selections!!! Today I had time to go to the postal museum in Washington DC! The folks who were selected are going to get the special postal museum cancelation stamp!

I wanted to make this offer extra special for y'all.

The wonderful workers of the museum store and the post office were thrilled at the handmade and written cards and envelopes!

I bought postcards, a mystery bag of stamps and a few first day of issue items too! Of course they asked what my plan for the stamps were so I told them about our side of reddit!

Look out for more handmade cards in the future for offers from me. I am itching to dig in and sort this bag of stamps and create cards for people!

Also peep the Cherry Blossom stuffie that I couldn't resist.

I have no idea what to do anymore

Since April I have had severe GI issues. It has resulted in a 30 pound weight loss in less than two months. I have been going to the bathroom within minutes of eating a meal almost every single meal.

No one has any idea what the problem is still nearly two months later. They ruled out anything via upper endoscopy. I have no infection based on a slough of lab work. I have even had allergy testing which found new allergies since the GI doctor thought that could have been part of the problem.

Now I'm basically only allowed to eat chicken breast and turkey breast (which is super hard to find this time of year), bell peppers, green beans, lettuce, Swiss Chard (haven't even tried to eat it yet), tomato, yellow squash, zucchini, olives, hearts of palm, berries, citrus, grapes, brown rice, maple syrup (in severely decreased amounts due to being diabetic) and stevia. I cannot have fat (the smallest amount possible only), no refined sugar, no fake sugar or sugar alcohol, no corn, nothing processed (meats, snacks, premade anything). I also cannot have the top 9 allergies except finned fish. I'm allergic to everything else.

My doctor doesn't know what else to suggest. Friends and family try to help and they get frustrated when I say I can't have that per my doctors. My blood sugar is out of control because I was basically taken off of every medication due to my GI, enlarged liver and spleen, not great kidney function and other things I'm probably forgetting.

On top of all of this, I have had some severe migraines, back pain from herniated discs and a cyst in my spine, a heel spur from Achilles tendonitis, a number of POTS flare and quite a number of meltdowns from all the stress.

I have been to 9 appointments this month alone. I have at least 6 more this month.

I'm not unfamiliar with the chronic illness life, this has been my entire life, it just seems to be getting worse. I'm just at a loss. Sorry this was so long. I'm open to suggestions and support. I just don't know how to manage all the health stuff on top of everything else.
