applying to medicine 2027 entry

hi, i'm in year 12 and have completed AS levels so far. i do bio chem psych alevels. i dont know my predicted grades yet, but i do not fit into the entry requirements for most universities for GCSE maths as i achieved a grade 5. i know this doesn't put me in a good position as most of them automatically filter you out if you don't have a grade 6/ above. i have found two unis - exeter and brunel - that accept a grade 5 as the minimum. i also don't fit into any of the contextual criteria. i posted about this somewhere else, and was told if i somehow get into med school they're scared for my future patients. someone else also mentioned that there is a zero chance i'll get through medical school with a grade 5 as the maths is very difficult. my other gcses aren't like this, i got 9s 8s 7s in everything else except for 6's in media and geography. i dont know what to do, this is stressing me out and i have booked the ucat but if theres no chance of me getting in i dont know if i should cancel it or not. i havent even touched the ucat website ever since i booked my test for september. someone told me to look at foundation or gateway years but i dont understand, aren't these for people who are contextual? sorry if this makes no sense, should i forget about applying to medicine

do they make the ucat harder for those doing it in september

i heard that this is because the people who do it in sept have more time to revise. i am doing mine in late september. is this even true?

idk what to do help

i don’t know if i’m breaking the rules by posting this😭 basically 5 hours ago i got henna on my left hand (dominant hand) and i didn’t like it so i came home and scrubbed it using soap, hand sanitizer and a magic eraser sponge. it was black henna, and now it stings so i put vaseline on it but im really scared its gonna develop into a chemical burn. (my fault obviously) what do i do and approximately how long would it take to heal if i did get a chemical burn? as i have school on monday

can i get into medicine

hi im in year 12, i got 998877665 the 5 being in maths and i know most medical schools require a grade 6 or above in maths which already doesn't put me in a good spot. i have also heard that if you didnt get all 8s and 9s there is no point of applying as most applicants got very high grades. i researched and found that brunel medical school accepts a 5 in maths, but thats literally the only one i found that does. i would wanna apply there because its kind of close to me too, but what other unis could i apply to if i even do apply for medicine? i dont know what my plan b would be either

question about sentibeings in miraculous

my post will probably get taken down for being 'low-quality', although this is a genuine question.

someone in a comment section said that emilie sacrificed her heart to make adrien (which is why adrien is so kind), colt sacrificed his brain to make felix (and thats why felix is so smart), and tomoe gave up her eyes for kagami and i didnt really see an explanation for this one. is this true?? the commenter said it was confirmed by thomas astruc and ive been searching but haven't found anything. people also say that felix graduated early, and that thomas also confirmed this too. can someone let me know if this is canon?

in school i learnt that RNA polymerase breaks the hydrogen bonds between the complementary base pairs which causes strands to unwind, but i just watched a video where it stated that its DNA helicase. i thought that was the case in dna replication, not transcription. are both of these answers accepted for ocr biology/ which one is correct?
