I just got a 2023 Hyundai kona preferred AWD with leather seats and a sunroof. I do need to take it back to the dealership to fix the radio which isn’t working but aside from that I absolutely love it. Some reviews of it and Hyundai in general are scaring me though, such as the IVT transmission giving out for some people. Have any of you had issues with yours? It has got almost 80k on it and I was reading I should be changing the fluid on it to make it last longer? What about rust proofing? Any other tips or tricks I should know about to make it last as long as possible? Thanks :)

My car is a POS money pit and I need to start saving for something more reliable but how do I do this on OW? If I just buy another beater I’m going to end up with the same problems, but if I try to save for something better they’ll say I have too many assets. I know once I have the car it doesn’t go against me but how do loans and financing work when it comes to OW?
Edit: I wasn’t asking if I should have a car, or if I can afford to have one, I was asking how it might affect my OW eligibility. If you can’t answer that no need to comment.
