Goodwill needs to check itself

Found a picture frame that I liked a Goodwill today. Checked the price, $14.99 for a plain white Mainstays Walmart frame. Pulled out my Walmart app, clicked the barcode scanner and the exact frame is $9.97 at my local store. Why?

Why would I buy a used frame that's been scuffed up in a pile of other frames for 50% MORE than I could get a brand new one?

Y'all are outta control.

Anybody read the dividend fine print for potential landmines or other unintended consequences by accepting the $$?

You know the saying, if it seems too good to be true....

Anybody take the time to comb through and see if you're giving up your first born or agreeing to paying 2x your premium for the next 10 years of you accept the loot?

Remember red pistachios?

Thought about this the other day. I remember getting stained fingers and lips after eating them, but haven't seen them in years. Definitely one of those common things that have disappeared over time.

I found $1.3 million in wasted spending, but can't benefit from it?

I work in IT as a contractor for 4 years. Been asking to be hired F/T for 3/4 years. Told they're trying to run a "lean" operation.

I've always had a knack for finding deals and saving money. Over the past year, I found at least $1.3 million that has been spent on services we don't use, don't need or didn't even know we were being charged for, going back to 2009. Previous years weren't chump change either. Last year my tally was around $300,000 I either saved or found and stopped unnecessary spending.

Problem is, if I pointed this out to upper mgmt, a decent amount of people across various teams are gonna get in trouble for not picking up on these situations. And even if I share this info with upper mgmt, it may not even matter to them, in which case people would lose their jobs and it does me no good anyway.

Is there an ethical way to handle this? It could potentially change my life in an ideal scenario, but could also backfire and wind up a lose-lose and colleagues resenting me. Suggestions? Thoughts?

One of those janky gas station ATM machines shorted me $20 on my withdrawal last night. What do I do?

Title pretty much says it all. If it was a major bank I'd know where to go to but I have a hunch this will end up being more time than it's worth investigating. Anybody have this issue before?

Seizures

My best buddy is 13 yo and started having seizures. Starts wobbling, right paw goes up, shaking, eyes and head stretch back, loses balance and falls over. They last from 3-4 mins and as soon as he starts to regain his bearings, he starts to lick his paws obsessively. He's usually dazed for the test if the day/night

Vet put him on Keppra and it seems to work, but it whacks him out. It zombifies him. I asked if there were any other options and she said other options can make him not control his pee and give him anxiety. Doesn't seem to be any good options.

Anybody else go thru this? Any suggestions to help with his quality of life? I'm not ready for this and where this is going. Not going to get another pet after this, it's crushing me.
