Girl at the store asked me for advice
I was at the store when this girl who looked like no older than 18 came up to me. She said "Hey um I hope this isn't offensive, but I couldn't help but notice your shirt, and I was wondering if I could ask you a question." I was wearing a trans flag shirt. And I reluctantly said "Yes" and was waiting for her to ask some invasive question about my body. But instead that didn't happen.
"I wanted to ask out this girl in my school who's trans and idk how to do it politely, like what are the rules? Would it be offensive to treat her like a regular girl?" I told her no, it's not offensive, and literally what this trans girl wants desperately. She thanked me and went on her way. I feel happy.
Missed a chance
So I heard that ren faires are super gay. Well I went to one and it did not disappoint. I saw like three different wlw couples kiss. Then at the thing where they feed you beer (look it up), the girl straight up said, "Good girl." She saw me blushing and added, "Are you looking for a maiden?" My brain was literally breaking. This girl was dressed up in an extravagant blue dress with elf ears and speaking in a faux English accent.
So I said "How did you..." and she interrupted me saying "Hon, I spotted you from a mile away. Now shush. If you want to find me, I get off work at 7." Needless to say I did not stay to meet her at 7. I was WAY too shy and didn't know how I would even begin to interact with her. I really wanted to, and I regret it a whole lot now, but I feel like it probably would've just been super awkward. Idk.
Women's bodies are perfect the way they are
I've noticed lately that we've been heading back towards the 2000s standards of ultra thinness, where any woman having a stomach that isn't flat is considered fat. As always, women are expected to be hairless, and cover up noticable imperfections with makeup. SCREW THAT
Women are perfect the way they are. Most women are curvy, have high body fat, thick thighs, and rounded stomachs. And it's fucking sexy. Forget beauty standards. No makeup, natural hair on legs and arms. Women don't need ANYTHING to make themselves pretty, because they ALREADY ARE. I love women 🥺 they're so prettyyyyyyyyy omg
Honestly, I don't get straight people at all. If you don't like the natural features of women, then you probably don't like women.
It's shocking how much better wlw dates are
Being bi, I cannot even begin to express how much safer I feel going on a date with a woman. I don't enter with nearly as much anxiety, don't have to make sure my friends know where I am and when I'm coming back, don't have to watch my drink, etc. With men, I've faced plenty of horrors, but with women, the worst I've ever experienced personally was bigotry and manipulation, no outright violence. I know it does happen, but it's not as prevelant.
On top of that, the bar is SO MUCH HIGHER. Virtually every woman is well groomed, nicely dressed, and reasonably polite, making an effort to get to know me. It's honestly staggering how big the difference is. You would think men and women come from entirely different realities lol.
Also women are just amazing. They're so soft and sweet and I just like being around them, they're like gsdjgsdjgsdg
I met my first conservative lesbian
I've never met a lesbian who was a Trumper until today. I was at a lesbian speed dating event, and I asked one of my partners what her most important core values were. She said that she was against the "liberal establishment." I asked her what she meant, and she said, "The democrats destroying America." Fast forward five minutes, and I learn that she's a lesbian, thinks bisexuals are "posers" and that trans women should be "illegal."
And she said she supports moral families with "real American" parents, regardless of their gender. So basically white lesbians, is what I interpreted. She also said she was just "telling it how it is" and that she wasn't going to "hold back, to not offend people. They need to know what I bring to the table."
So yeah, that's my first one in the wild.
