Check out my video on Way of the Samurai 3!

Hi all,

Ik it’s not a completely positive review, but I played 4 endings of Way of the Samurai 3 and made a video about it! It’s my first ever game review, and was super tough since it was such a unique format, but I’m still pretty proud of how it turned out.

Overall, I like the game in parts but couldn’t stand other things like the side jobs or the combat. Full disclosure, I had so many crashes at one point that I started getting too frustrated to enjoy the game. After my second ending, while I still had things I found enjoyment in, I started being much more critical.

I hope you get a chance to watch one of my first videos, if not then no problem. If so, I’d love if you like or comment your thoughts. I’d love to play the 4th and maybe even go back to the 1st or 2nd some day, but would love advice from anyone watching!

Thanks,
The Game Examiner

What are the Best RPGs on sale in the PlayStation Store right now?

To give you an idea of what I'm into, I already own and have sunk massive hours into Baldur’s Gate 3, Elden Ring, Monster Hunter, The Witcher 3, and Disco Elysium. I love games with deep systems and branching narratives.

What are the absolute best RPGs on sale right now that fit that vibe? I'm open to anything from tactical turn-based stuff to action RPGs. Appreciate any recommendations!

The Strangest Samurai RPG You Forgot Existed (Way of the Samurai 3)

Hi all,

I just finished up a dive into a game I used to play years ago - Way of the Samurai 3. I originally expected to give it high praise for its uniqueness, but I had a much stranger experience than I expected leading to some mixed opinions. That said, I tried to expand into a new format for a full game and would love for all of you to check it out if you have the chance!

Thanks for reading,

I’ve always been a big fan of Vampire Survivors. It’s always been my favorite phone game to pass time. But I was shocked when Poncle’s follow-up was a deck builder - and arguably even better than its predecessor.

I hope you can check out this video where I talk a little about the development of the game and some of the design translations from Vampire Survivors that makes Vampire Crawlers such a unique game even in the saturated card game market.

And if you are unsure of whether to play the game or not - DO IT! It’s a fantastic game full of frictionless gameplay and perfect difficulty.

Hi all, I just wanted to share my experience with Thief The Dark Project and Metal Age. I have been trying older games that I have bounced off of in the past and trying techniques to play through some classics. These are the techniques I used and, truthfully, it made me see Thief as a completely different and, truthfully better, style of stealth gameplay than any modern series.

Please check out the video and let me know your thoughts if you have the chance. But, if not, I genuinely wanted to share my experience with all of you since the games were genuinely masterpieces when you play them patiently and with the informational friction intended by the Devs.

Thanks,
