I’m ready for my closeup, Mr Demille
That’s his spot. He has his own chair.
They take their music lessons very seriously.
They ate a squirrel
And now they’re peacefully digesting it. Yuck 🤢
Sahara Desert Dust
Are you feeling the dust in the air? Is anyone else coughing and feeling short of breath, with a sore throat? Or is it just a bug? Ugh…
Liquid Eyeliner
Dawn Davenport is a big influence on my looks!
Everything is fine if Dolly is with me
He’s cold! He’s been under the towel resting his head on Dolly Parton’s pillow. He’s chill, happy and relaxed.
SD flares after eating certain types of food
I have suffered from SD for at least 40 years. Horrible dandruff as a teenager, then after becoming an actor and sharing makeup with the troupe it moved to my eyebrows, ears, and beard. And yes, I went bald in my early 20s.
I have tried every shampoo and cream available, the latest ones being Selsun Blue and Head and shoulders, as well as Aveeno Baby Bath, after anti fungal as like Ketokonazole, and medicated lotions and creams like Clobetasol. I have never tried pills, only topical treatments. Nor have I ever tried ciclopirox olamine shampoo (first time I heard of it was here on this sub).
I have noticed that my flares happen usually after I eat certain types of food: I definitely had to cut dairy out of my diet, it’s the worst one. But I have also noticed that certain tomato based pasta sauces (no dairy or sugar added) caused a deep rash around my face and chest. I still have not been able to find a trigger nor a solution, and antihistamines do NOTHING for me. I am now used to looking like a raccoon with flaky eyebrows and a red mask around my eyes.
Is anyone else having SD flares after eating foods? How do you handle them?
I was born ready for the camera
Is this the beginning of my modeling career? Woof!
Nurtec saved the day
I woke up at 4am with a horrible migraine. I have never been able to pinpoint their origin.
My head was going to explode. I drank a liter of water, relaxed, and put the Nurtec tab under my tongue to let it dissolve slowly.
4 hours later my migraine was GONE.
My body is exhausted, but the pain is gone. It feels a bit like a hangover.
There was a moment of exhilaration, I got overwhelmed with feelings, and got very emotional, but it didn’t last very long.
I did shed a tear thinking what a difference Nurtec would have done when I started having migraines 40 years ago: it would have spared me from days of suffering and agony.
