That turned out badly ;-)
Something a bit smaller wouldn't be bad... but: the rain jacket is much cheaper than a Fairphone ;-)

Hallo Leute,
gibt es in Frankfurt (oder dem Rhein-Main-Gebiet) eine Art Motorrad-Gemeinschaftsgarage und Gemeinschafts-Werkstatt wie z.B. das Craftwerk in Berlin ?

I got the idea for this post (which isn't meant to be taken too seriously) from a slogan on a tote bag. The first-generation Profitec GO is made entirely of metal—except for the water tank and the pump mounting brackets ;-)
I managed to get the initial rattling under control thanks to tips from this subreddit and elsewhere. But where is the design heading? More and more plastic is being used; that actually worked out well for the drip tray, and it seems there's even more plastic in Version 2, judging by the videos I've seen.
Still, I’m a fan of metal construction. What do you guys think?
I just watched a video from Welter & Welter (Cologne, Germany) about the Profitec Go 2.0. It’s very interesting; new features include pre-infusion, automatic backflushing, a water tank filter replacement reminder, a programmable auto-on timer, hot water dispensing, two programmable buttons, a water level sensor, a shot timer with auto-stop, and automatic boiler refilling after steaming.
Descaling the machine yourself? That issue has been resolved: there is a dedicated descaling program.
Price: about €50 more than the old model...
Would I buy it? Yes, I would, but I still have the "old" one with the metal drip tray. It works great.
What do you think of the features?
[edit] I'm keeping the old one; it has served me faithfully so far, and I don't need the automatic features of the new one.
Suddenly the menubar is on the left side. That's bad. How can I configure to be at the bottom again?
Okay, the thing costs €30, but today I was adjusting my sunglasses on my head while holding the FP6. It fell from about 1.8 meters onto the asphalt. A small, almost invisible scratch on one corner of the protective frame, but everything still works perfectly. Surprising to me, but good.
Rel. 16.61.0 is on the way
