Lounge options for employee CDG

My wife and I travel to Paris for work and she’s always allowed into the AF lounge with me with my status (Platinum, Reserved cardholder). This September, we’re bringing our employee. I know I can use my guest passes in the States, but is there an option for her to get into the lounge at CDG? I asked three different workers and got three different answers.

The world seems to have slowed post IQ testing

IQ testing was part of my ASD assessment where I scored in the 99th percentile for processing speed and fluid reasoning. This was about a year ago at the age of 45. Prior to testing, everything seemed to move at a slower pace than my brain wanted it to: conversations, technology, etc. Post testing, things have seemed to become even slower. I feel like I'm constantly waiting for everything. While I'm chalking it up to a variation of the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon, it sure feels real. Anyone else experience something similar?

Can I legally sell a sawfish bill in the United States?

This belonged to my grandpa, and my mom remembers him having it back in the 60’s. As an over the road trucker in the 40’s through the 70’s, he bought stuff all over. Can it be sold or is it protected? I don’t have any documents of where or when he acquired it.

19th Century French Ship Painting

This was purchased in Paris, France. I’m struggling to make out the signature and haven’t seen anything dated the was this is. Perhaps C Savage? 1875? The stretcher design makes me think it’s older though?

The stamp on the back is a framing shop in France, so no leads there.

Stiff straps on updated Bellroy Venture 6L?

I’ve had my original Bellroy Venture 6L for about three years and love it, but it’s looking a bit shabby, so I purchased a new one. I can’t help be underwhelmed at the changes they’ve made - primarily the strap material. Whereas my original bag had a thicker, sturdy, but soft material, this new bag has a thin, super stiff strap. It’s very nylon feeling whereas the older one feels much softer and pliable.

Can anyone with a newer Venture bag with the strap material like the green bag pictured here comment if they soften up with use? I get it’s a new bag, but these seem like they’ll never soften. I clearly recall my old bag being comfortable from the first wear. This new one has a totally different feel.

Any shops stock Addicts in the Upper Midwest? (US, WI)

I'm right in between a small and med, so I'd love to ride one before I buy. Does anyone know of a shop that stocks Addicts (non-RC)? I'm in Wisconsin, but willing to drive. Thanks.

Super Six versus Defy?

I’m currently on a gen 4 SSE and wondered if any other owners have also had experience with a gen 5 Giant Defy? I’d love to hear comparison thoughts. Due to scoliosis, I have to run my SSE fairly tall and short (40mm spacers with 100mm stem and bars with a 64mm reach) and it’s always felt a little too twitchy as a result. A like-new Defy popped up for sale locally and I’m curious.

What is this a copy of?

I picked this up off Ali and it’s a perfect fit for me. Unfortunately, the way it’s constructed sucks and the edges of the carbon base press into my legs when seated. I’m trying to find the original / real version of this saddle (if one exists), but I’m not finding a match. The Pro Stealth is close, but the width is wider (142 vs this 137) and the cutout is narrower. The Selle Italia Flight / SLR both have the right width, but they aren’t exact. Others? Or maybe this is an original design? Thanks.

New digital upright with possible droop to the case?

Hi.

I recently purchased a new upright digital piano and noticed some slight downward curvature in the key slip (wood trim in front of the keys facing player) and the top board of the case (where you'd set your sheet music). Is it safe to say most 88 key pianos with weighted keys are supported internally with metal bracing and what I'm noticing is cosmetic? The keyboard is dead flat and I really don't want to figure out how to package this thing up and send it back seeing it weights nearly 125 lbs. It was purchased directly from the manufacture as this is a new unit and not widely available.

I don't want to mention the model as I'm currently awaiting an email back from the company and want to give them a chance to clarify / make things right, but it's a very comparable piano to a Yamaha Arius or Kawai CX series.

Thanks.

2026 Touring with the Keyless Access Setup > Door Unlock Mode set to unlock all doors. Nearly every morning I grab the driver's door handle, it only unlocks the driver's door. If I manually unlock all doors with the lock/unlock buttons, all doors unlock and for the rest of the day, grabbing the driver's door unlocks all doors. It seems if the car sits for long periods of time, it defaults back to unlocking the driver's door only.

My local dealer said this was a "safety feature" and I need to perform the cycle to make it work. I have no idea what that means, but I'm 99.9% certain he was incorrect. With the mode set to unlock all doors, it seems like it should work every time.

Thoughts? Thanks.
