Found this on the internet, turns out the liquid metal seems into the cpu package shorting caps and making c-states unusable. my god.
i have a rog g513ic.
2 hours in turbo mode on boost clocks on c-states enabled. laptop runs fine. never did before.

I have a ROG STRIX G15 G513IC . ryzen 7 4800h and a rtx 3050.
Its battery is toast barely runs 3-5 minutes of youtube playback. i disconnected the battery and use it as a desktop. no signs of physical degradation but im sure years of running on balanced mode on battery has ruined it.
i am facing some issues at higher wattages like above 40-50 (lower the better) watts stability is a bit flaky. at 35 its great. now is it the battery or is my mobo toast?
I know its a whole laptop but GPUs and laptops have similar vrm problems...
I have a asus rog strix g15 g513ic(ryzen 4700h + rtx 3050).
This laptop has had BSOD/blackscreen problems since i bought it. They werent nearly as severe when i bought it (once a week) so i dismissed it as something minor, really didnt have time to give it for warranty.
BSOD errors are mostly IRQL or WATCHDOG or WHEA
I do repaste it quite regularly.
That being said, it did run hot for quite a long time as i didn't repaste it.
The laptop is very stable when boost clocks are disabled, and battery is fully charged and plugged in, any of this is changed it crashes instantly.
When boost clocks are enabled and the load is predictable like AIDA64 or cinebench, its still stable. Even counter strike works really well without crashing since its a predictable load with the game loop constantly running.
I really think its something wrong with the power delivery of this laptop and the cpu silicon is fine by itself.
Is this a common issue on these laptops? I would love for a reliable long term software level fix like disabling the boost clocks worked wonders for me.
i have a pulsar 150 ug3 bs3 (carburated). it normally gives me 40-50 kmpl, somedays ago i was stuck in some really nasty traffic and my whole bike was really hot . i went home around all my fuel had disappeared. my fuel tank is fine. my fuel lines are fine. what i was thinking was that the carb absorbed heat and the fuel vaporized. carbs are open systems they can let fuel out very easily...
is this something that happens commonly? are there any solutions to it ?
