POV: Left my fulltime job - to pursue content creation - no budget restriction.

I already have an Instagram + YouTube channel and want to upgrade my video setup.

My content:

• Weekly YouTube tutorials (x1 a week)
• Vlogs documenting building my SaaS, with a slightly cinematic feel
• Regular Claude/AI tutorial Reels
• Proper studio lighting already sorted (key + backlight)
• Currently using an iPhone 17 Pro, but I’d like a dedicated device for video

Would you stick with the iPhone 17 PRO, get a mirrorless camera, get the DJI Pocket 4, or wait for a possible Pocket 4 Pro?

If you’d choose a camera, which one and why?

I also have a iPhone 14 PRO

I just hit 100K on Insta! (I create content around product design.) - @shai.hq

And I have an iPhone 17 Pro. But honestly, while we talk about all the technicalities, I can’t convince myself that iPhone 17 Pro stock footage could come anywhere close to the cinematic shots from the DJI Pocket 4.

In fact, I believe that small cinematic upgrade could really elevate my videos.

Please prove me wrong!

I’m getting a decent number of visitors to my portfolio but barely any interview calls.

I’ve my portfolio on Designfolio. And in the analytics I’m seeing a lot of people visiting my portfolio.

Just can’t figure out why they’re leaving without downloading my resume or contacting me.

what’s that one thing that makes you close a portfolio almost immediately?

I recently got the MX Master 4, but I hated it because of the low polling rate. Then I got the G502 X, but I couldn’t stand the scroll wheel.

Now I’m thinking of going back to a trackpad. I got the Magic Trackpad at a good price, but I only have 10 hours left to cancel or keep the order since there’s no return policy.

What should I do—

Does your Apple Studio Display have burn issues?

Just a quick question: have you ever noticed your Apple Studio Display temporarily retaining a static image? For example, if you leave the screen idle with a static icon for a while, does that icon remain faintly visible for a few seconds after the screen changes?
