I know this has probably been asked a few times here, but I’ve just been shopping around for CTP for my 2009 Iron 883, and the cheapest quote I could find was $916.
I’m 25+, have a full licence, no demerit points and no previous claims, and I live fairly close to the city. Is everyone paying this much for motorcycle CTP these days? At this rate, I feel like it’ll be touching $1,000 by next year.
Just wanted to share the happy news, we didn't hire any cleaners and handled all the repairs ourselves before moving out. There was a bit of back and forth with the agents after the tenancy ended, but we stood our ground and asked for evidence for the claims they were making. Once we started asking for proof, the responses stopped coming. After waiting a month, we lodged our bond claim and received the full bond back.
I can keep all of them and not financially cripple me but I was thinking how do you actually decide which bike has to go? For those of you who've owned multiple bikes, did you ever regret selling one? At some point, do you stop listening to your heart and make the sensible financial decision instead? I find it really hard to let go of a motorcycle I've ridden for years and built memories with. There's always some sort of connection to it.
So I've basically been put under an unofficial PIP. The problem is, most of the reasons they've listed in the excel sheet are incredibly vague and not detailed at all. One of the points literally says I need to be "more proactive". That's it. The director clearly doesn't like me, but they don't really have anything substantial against me because I'm constantly working and putting in the effort. It just feels like they're finding petty reasons to say I'm underperforming. Honestly, I feel bullied and pretty helpless. I want to fight back, but it seems like no matter what I do they'll always find something else to criticise. I don't really have support from anyone in the team either. At this point it's not even about keeping the job. I'm already looking for other opportunities. It's more about respect. I genuinely don't want people to get away with treating others like this. I keep thinking about future associates who might end up working under this person. Nobody should have to deal with this kind of treatment. Has anyone been through something similar? If a PIP is based on vague, subjective and redundant feedback like this, can they actually put you on one? I'd really appreciate any advice or experiences from people who've dealt with something similar.
Do not take this unit if it is optional for you; it will be worse this semester.
