What is the best method nowadays for adding and maintaining chlorine levels?

I have owned my hot tub for probably 15 years and because the hot tub Place recommended using these frog cartridges.I

Feels like ive been wasting a lot of money on them. Is there a cheaper more efficient way that also doesn't require having something floating around there when I'm in the hot tub ? A 3 pack is $60!

Gotta love Arizona! All self collected.

They are all wet and shiny because they just came out of the tumbler and I'm getting ready to put them in the next stage.

Good to know: you can still add chalk pastel powder to add more color after it's baked.

I had wanted this to be more red and it ended up super orange looking like a pumpkin instead of a tomato. So after baking I was able to brush on quite a bit more red pastel chalk and it applied nicely. I was surprised.

You can see the red versus orange in the video.

Made a trinket dish; progress picks included

I designed and 3D printed a clay cutter and then on my clay I added pigment powders, gilding polish, made polymer clay "pearls", and added rhinestones and coated with UV resin.

Note, im coloring on white baked clay with the markers and then doing fine designs with the black pen. Sadly, hours later, the micron ink is smearing.
