Series 12 in light gold with gold Milanese loop - posting photos because I couldn’t find any when I needed them lol

When I was buying my watch I couldn’t find any irl photos of the light gold watch with the gold Milanese loop anywhere, I could only find the gold band with the other gold one and it was super frustrating! So here’s what this combo looks like for anyone else who wants to see it. Got photos from lots of angles so you can make your decision if this is the combo you’re looking at :) I also find this band a LOT more comfortable than the sport band which I also own!

Getting sick of seeing posts here describing WFs as essentially “low effort”.

I keep seeing posts and comments on here from AM who are describing WF as “lower maintenance” and “having lower expectations”, even going so far as to say they like WF because they want to be able to split the bill on with her dates and pay less of the household expenses.

I hope you know how absolutely insulting it is to describe WF in a way that suggests you’re interested in us because you have to do less. It is also just not true. AM here are very vocal about not wanting to be talked about as if they’re all the same, but you’re describing WF as if you’re looking for a relationship where you don’t have to “try as hard” and saying that WF accept lower standards and don’t expect much and it’s insulting. People have different expectations that are unique to them. I am a WF who’s Chinese husband pays for everything, and who puts in a TON of effort to keep me happy and spent a lot of time courting me when we were dating to show his value. If other WFs don’t want that kind of relationship, good on them. But to describe all of like we’re just down for whatever and you don’t have to try as hard is going to bite you in the ass. The only WFs who are genuinely ok with all of us being described that way are pick me’s who just want to be told you think they’re better than AF no matter what.

And don’t even get me started on the comments about us being more “open minded” sexually… what the fuck???? You sound GROSS and any woman with self respect would be deeply horrified that you’re describing us all that way and I don’t have the patience to get into how it’s also super misogynistic.

You should be looking for a partner who shares your values of course, but you should not be seeking out WF because you think none of them care about you being ambitious and generous or because you think you’ll have more money in your personal bank account.

Btw when I read those posts to my amazing and generous Chinese husband who would rather die than not take care of me financially and goes out of his way every single day to put 110% effort into both our marriage, my family, and his career, he always just says “these guys are in for a rude awakening” and “what kind of WF wants to be with a guy who think he has to do less for her than AF”. My husband carries my purse, ties my shoes, washes my hair, pays the bills, swipes his card at every store every time, because that’s how he had always treated every AF he’s ever been with and he said it would be “insane” for him to MARRY a woman and do less for her than he’s done with his exes.

Pimple patch company inexplicably starts promoting bitcoin on their boxes, defends it on TikTok?

Came across this video from @ mikcabre on TikTok where she posts a video of her old pimple patch box compared to a new one she just got. On the box where it USED to say “we’ve got you covered” it now says “explore bitcoin”. The owner shows up in the comments with this absolutely insane explanation. I honestly don’t even know what to think except this is an absolutely insane choice

They almost didn’t let me buy this at the warehouse sale, has that happened to anyone else lol??

When I went to check out from the warehouse sale with this jacket earlier this week this employees debated back and forth whether it was “priced correctly” because one of them looked at the tag and saw it was originally $550 +tax, and they almost weren’t going to let me buy it for $99. They had a supervisor come over and they were sort of sighing and acting like they didn’t know what to do, and then they finally went “well it doesn’t say anywhere that we can’t sell it so I guess it’s fine”. Has anyone else had that happen at the warehouse sale lol?? Like I get that selling a jacket that’s worth like $600 after tax for $99 is a huge discount but YOU GUYS priced the jacket? They just kept pointing to the tag and going “but it was $550 though???” While I just stood there ready to argue if they said I couldn’t have it lol. Anyway my jacket is perfect and I love it

My husband said maybe one of them wanted it for themselves and was trying to figure out if they could put it aside lol

PLEASE help with my Asian husbands hair, I am desperate.

PLEASE BE KIND. My husband is struggling with a lot of self confidence issues and with his Asian identity and I want to show him this post to be helpful but I can’t if people aren’t nice. Seriously, be constructive but kind PLEASE

My husband has been struggling with some identity issues (I know these can’t be solved by good hair and we’re working on them outside of this) and one of the things he’s struggling with is hating his natural hair, which leads to him styling it in a way that frankly looks insane because he’s trying to fight his natural hair and not doing it the right way. He’s obsessed with the idea that his hair is “too straight and flat” and wants “volume and texture” but he doesn’t know what he’s doing and it ends up looking like the first picture unless I intervene and then I can kind of get it to look like the last picture. I keep trying to tell him he needs to work WITH his Asian hair and not AGAINST it and that he can’t compare his hair to the texture of men who are a totally different race. I see Asian men with great hair all the time and my husband has thick healthy hair that absolutely can look great but I need him to get out of his head 😢 I feel sad for him because I know he feels insecure and is just trying to feel better but I’m trying to find ways to POLITELY tell him that the way he’s doing his hair is not professional for work and also makes him look unkempt.

Trying very hard to convince him to go to a GOOD BARBER and get the barber to give him styling advice too but he thinks I’m attacking him even when I try to be nice or that I’m just being critical because I’m his wife and no one else would think his hair looks bad. Does anyone have any words of encouragement for him or maybe some good hair advice for Asian hair to make it not “straight and flat” but still looks good? I am white and obviously female so I don’t know how to work with men’s hair or Asian hair.

Husband has this spot that appeared out of nowhere and the doctor won’t do anything and says it’s just “stress”. How can we find out if it’s AA?

My husbands barber randomly found this patch on his head one day and we have no idea what the cause is, but the doctor said it’s just “stress” and nothing to worry about even though my husband keeps saying he’s not under any increased stress? His diet and sleep etc are also fine.

Does anyone have any advice for how to get a doctor to take us seriously? He’s very concerned because the spot just keeps growing, and it’s frustrating to have no idea what it is or get any help beyond a vague answer of stress and being told to “go to bed earlier” (he sleeps at literally 10pm). Obviously if this is alopecia we want to know, and if it’s not we also want to know so we can treat the alternative!
